Summer Layout

How exciting!  Cherry Lynn Designs is currently having a Design Tam Call.  I just love their dies!

I created this fun layout for the call, using a picture of my babies from last summer!

I used these Cherry Lynn Design products:

Exotic Butterfly Mini (DL112)

Fanciful Flourish (B117)

French Flair Stackers

Sketch Challenge with Sweet Stamps

Welcome to our last week of Christmas in July projects!  This week's challenge at Sweet Stamps is a SKETCH!!!

What a fun sketch!

Here's my creation for this week:

I actually decided to turn the sketch sideways.

 I used a new fun duo set from Sweet Stamps called "Ornaments Silhouette and Outline Duo".  What a fun set as there are so many different things you can do with it.  In this case, I used the ouline stamp on designer paper and cut them out.

And in my opinion, no Christmas ornament is complete until you have a little....
SHIMMER!!

I used Creative Inspirations Paint "Fairy Dust" to add shimmer to the designer paper!  If you haven't tried these paints yet, please do, they are so perfect!  I really like using them!

I am so excited!!!  One of my cards has been published in a magazine!  My first one!  I am so excited!

Paper Creations Magazine - Fall 2011 which goes on sale tomorrow is featuring one of my cards!! YAY!!

Christmas in July with D2D

Designed 2 Delight has a fun challenge this week, Christmas in July! 

But the twist is you can't use green and red!!

I used lime green on mine as I really liked this color scheme. (Thought that would be okay since I was using a typical green)

I used "Snowman Love" from D2D.

I love this Bo Bunny paper!  I also used some new metallic inspirations from Creative Inspirations Paint!  They have a new line of hot fix jewels and metallic inspirations!

Here's my creation for this week:

 I really like how this card was turning out, so I made two!

I stamped "Tiny Snowflake Background" in White Dye Ink on Vellum to create the center panel.

I then stamped "I Love Snow" on the button and added Denim Pearls.

The entire month we are having Christmas inspired challenges!  This will surely help get those Christmas cards started, instead of waiting last minute!  I currently have 14 cards done for this Christmas!  Yay!

Here's my creation:

I just love this butterfly die that I got from Sweet Stamps!  It's called "Intricate Butterfly".

I actually cut it out three times and cut one of them to make it smaller.

I used CI Paint "Tutu Pink" to add shimmer to the butterfly! I also used some of the new hot fix jewels and metallic inspirations on this card from CI Paints!

Silver & Gold with Sweet Stamps

Here's my creation for this week:

I decided to use the sentiment "May the Peace" as the main focus.  I also used "Holly Branches" on the background.

 I used Creative Inspirations Paint "Antique Silver" and "Gold" for a lot of the details on this card.

I used Gold on the outside of the frame.

I used Silver embossing powder and then used the Antique Silver CI Paint to add shimmer inside the leaves.

I then used Gold embossing powder on the others with Gold CI Paint.

Sawyer's B-Day Invites

With the crazy busy hours I have been working, I decided to digitally make Sawyer's Birthday Invites this year!  We decided to just have a little get together with the grandma's and aunts/uncles.

He was so excited over them!! 

It was between a Cars theme or Toy Story and he is obsessed with both.

I used Photoshop to create these fun ticket style invites.  I seen a similar invite on the internet awhile back and thought it was such a fun idea!  (Sorry I can't find the site anymore to share the link)

Future Racer?!?!

Definetly can tell he has his Mumzy's and Daddy's blood!  Our little guy just loves racecars!!

As scary as it would be to watch him race someday, I'm really hoping maybe he'll get the chance to enjoy something my husband and I enjoyed doing for many years together!

It's so hard to believe yesterday was my little guys 3rd Birthday!  Where does that time go?

One thing I really enjoy about my job, is being able to set my own hours, as for me it is mandatory I have off on his b-day to do whatever he wants! Something that will continue to be done every year!

 I used a fun "Wreath" stamp from Sweet Stamps to create this card.  I stamped the bow a few times make it 3D.  The sentiment is also from Sweet Stamps called "Merry Christmas Script".

It's my week to host the challenge and I thought this would be a fun challenge. 

I really enjoyed making my card!

I've had my eye on this digi from Prairie Fairy for awhile now, it's called "Swirly Cupcake". 

I used Creative Inspirations Paint "TuTu Pink" to add shimmer to the frosting! YUMMY!

The embossed Core'dinations paper sanded, I really like how this turned out.
