Hello Stamping Friends!

Time for a new challenge at Your Next Stamp!!

There is a fun sketch and colors to find inspiration from!!

I found some inspiration in some of the colors and followed the sketch!!

I created this super cute card for my son:

He just loved the One In A Chameleon stamp set when I got it!!  As did I!!  I stamped the image with Black Olive Ink and colored with my Copics!  I then used the coordinating One In A Chameleon Die Set to die cut the chameleon out!!

I added the image to a die cut pattern circle, which is part of the Circles with Stitching and Piercing Marks Die Set!

I stamped the 'You're One In A Chameleon!' sentiment from the One In A Chameleon stamp set!!  My son will love it!!  It was a toss up on which sentiment I was going to use, as I also really like the 'Peace Dude' sentiment!!

I finished off the card by adding a few Gumdrops!!

YNS May Feature Day

Feature Day Theme Is....
Artist Inspiration

I found inspiration from Jackson Pollock!

He was well known for his unique style of drip painting!  As well as ink splatters!

I love abstract art!  In collage, while getting my Graphic Design and Art degree, I did a lot of abstract art designs!  So I was inspired to created a fun abstract background for my card today using some fun stamps!!

Here is the painting I found inspiration from:

He tended to use dark colors!  I prefer bright fun colors, so I decided to just find inspiration from his style and create a fun bright birthday card!

I used the Mud Splatter, Got Mud? and Paint Swooshes and Splatters to create the background for my card:

I think it turned out really fun! A great masculine birthday card, in my opinion!!

I used the Holly Berry Red, Pumpkin Orange, Sunflower Yellow, Olive Green and Blue Curacao ink pads to ink my stamps with!!

To stay with his darker style, I decided to die cut the 'Happy Birthday' from the Scripty Happy Birthday Die Set in black paper and add it to my background!  I like how kind of blends into my background!!

I finished off my card by adding a few Gumdrops by the sentiment!!

Sympathy

Hello Stamping Friends!


I have a sympathy card to share with you using fun dies from Frantic Stamper!!


As always, sympathy cards are so hard to make!  I really like a lot of the dies Frantic Stamper has to offer, as they really help in making these types of cards a little easier.  

I decided to keep the card as clean and simple as possible, so I went with white on white for the most part.

I used the Deepest Sympathy die cut for my sentiment!

I then used the Large Calla Lilies to create the beautiful bouquet of lilies at the bottom of my card!

Best Mother

Hello Stamping Friends!


I have a beautiful card to share with you using fun dies from Frantic Stamper!!


Since today is Mother's Day, I thought it would be very fitting to post a lovely 'Best Mother' card for you!  I just love how this card turned out!

I used the gorgeous Elementals #18 - Stitched Bracket Squares, as well as the coordinating Bracket Squares In-Betweens!

So elegant and gorgeous!!  I just love how it turned out!  The added flowers and swirly pearls add the perfect touch, in my opinion!

I used the All In the Family stamp set for my sentiment.

I found some inspiration in some of the colors and followed the sketch!!

The inspirational colors instantly made me think of the fun Magical Ponies stamp set!  So I used my Copics to color one of the ponies!  I then used the coordinating Magical Ponies Die Set to die cut the image out!!

Such a fun image for a little girl's card!!  Wasn't sure if I was going to use this as a Birthday Card or a card to give my niece or daughter just because.

So I used the fun 'Wishing you a magical day!' sentiment from the set, which I stamped in Black Olive Ink on the stitched die cut banner from the Cool Tag Two Patterns Die Set!  (I love the banner from this set so much!!)

I finished off my card by adding a few sparkly Gumdrops!!

Birthday Shaker

Hello Stamping Friends!

Have you had a chance to check out Frantic Stamper's May Life Moments Release??!!

I am so in love with so many of the fun dies!!!

I honestly had NO clue where to start when I got my package!!

I decided to first make a fun shaker card!  I've had a really cool sequins mix I've been waiting to use on a fun birthday card!!  Well now was the time!!

I used the previously released Nested Stitched Stars to create the opening for my shaker window!!  Perfect for a Birthday card!

I used the new Jumbo Mixed Font Happy Birthday die set for my sentiment!  I absolutely LOVE this die set!!  Love the two fonts used!!  I'll be using this one a lot!!

YNS May DT Dare

It's DT Dare day at Your Next Stamp!!

DT Dare is....
Gumdrops

We were to use the new release stamps, dies and yummy new gumdrops!!!

I love the new gumdrops!!

Here is the card I created:

I used the fun new Good Vibes stamp set and coordinating Good Vibes Die set!

I used the new Heart and Dot Gumdrops, to add three heart shaped gumdrops!!  

I used the fun new Sunburst Panel Die also!!  But covered part of the bottom of it, with some pattern paper from the Hugs and Kisses Paper Pad, as I wanted it to look the the sunrise was only above the sentiment!  

I like to show how you can use these fun panel dies in different ways!  They don't always have to be completely used!!

Welcome Little One

YNS May Release

Hello Stamping Friends!

 It's release day at Your Next Stamp!!!
I just love release day!

So MANY great new stamp sets and dies being released today!!!

First up, I am featuring the adorable new Total Sweetness stamp set!!

What a super sweet image!!  It was so much fun to color!!  Made me a little hungry for some ice cream!!

I also used some of the new Gumdrops!!!  I love that there are some heart shaped gumdrops!!!  The two new gumdrop sets are amazing!!!

 Next I am featuring the fun new Got Mud? stamp set!  Having a little boy, I am so super excited about this set!!  He is all boy!!  Totally loves mud as well as monster trucks!!

The set includes three different monster trucks! Two mud splatters and seven sentiments!!!  I also used the new Mud Splatter stamp set!  I stamped the mud splatter in Almond Latte and the tire tracks in Mocha!

I finished off the card by adding some Enchanted Forest Gumdrops!

YNS May Preview Day

I am featuring the new Good Vibes stamp set!!  Along with the coordinating Good Vibes Die!

The set includes this cute Toucan and four sentiments!!  I really like the "Sending you good vibes" sentiment from the set!!  I have a sweet friend who is going through some life changes that have been hard on her, and thought this card would put a smile on her face!!

I also used the new Sunburst Panel Die!!!    What a fun panel die this is!! I love it!!

I finished off the card, by adding a new Gumdrop in each corner!!
