Masculine cards can sometimes be a struggle.  Especially this time of year!

Valentine's Day cards have to have some red and pink in them!  But I tried to use 'teal' as my main color!

I really like how it turned out!!

This one will be for my son!

The used a die cut heart from the Belly Band Dies set to create my shaker window!  The other two hearts are from the Fancy Pillow Treat Box Die and Heart Label Dies sets!

The adorable gnome image and sentiments are from the Love You Lots stamp set!!  I love this new set!!

MCT 107th Edition New Release

Today I am featuring the Big Love Layered Die and Gift Card Helper Dies again, I love these new products so much:

I used the Big Love Layered Die on the front of my card!  I love this die so much!!  And was excited to be able to create a shaker from the heart!!  So fun!!

I used the little heart dies from the Heart Label Dies set to create my own stencil to add the inked hearts in the background!

I used the Gift Card Helper Dies so that I could add a gift card to the inside of my card:

After you remove the gift card there is a hidden message:

The sentiment is from the Love You Lots stamp set!

The larger die cut heart is from the Big Love Layered Die, it's the inside of heart from the die cut on the front of the card.  The tiny die cut hearts are from the Heart Label Die set!!

I die cut the layers using the Rectangle Frame Dies and Rectangle Frame Die Layers, before adhering together I used the new Gift Card Helper Dies to create the slits for my gift card to slide in!  I love these new dies to help create the slits wherever you'd like!!

Hello Sweet Crafty Friends!

I have a fun slimline card to share today using Lisa Horton Crafts products!

I'm excited to share this card with you:

I absolutely LOVE Lisa's NEW Slimline Loops & Bubbles Frame die set!!

The scallop frame is so pretty!!

I paper pieced some of the circles back into the frame.  The plain colored cardstock I embossed with the awesome Cubes Embossing Folder!!

For my 'Love U' sentiment I used the beautiful new Large Stitched Alphabet Die Set!!  I am so in love with this alphabet die set!  It is such an awesome size!!  And I love the stitching on the letters!!

Each year brings a new beginning, so what a great way to start the year at YNS with this theme.  I wasn't sure what to do at first.  So after thinking of last year and then thinking of this year, I decided to create a Christmas card.  Don't laugh!  

But last year I didn't have enough handmade Christmas cards, so my goal is to try and start creating them now!!  In hopes to have enough this year and not wait till the last minute!!  So my take is more of a resolution for the New Year!
