Happy Birthday with TSOL

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I have a card to share with you today using some amazing products from The Stamps of Life!!


I surely LOVE all the amazing dies TSOL offers to create all the fun card designs!!

For this card I used the fun Sizzix XL Die - Card, Fancy Label Stand-Up!

So pretty!  Love the lovely colors I used!!

The die cut flowers around the sentiment are part of the Sizzix Framelits Dies w/Stamps - Banners #2!

I tried a new technique that I have seen, but never tried!!  I inked the flowers embossing folder from the new Flower/Dots 3 Pack Embossing Folders with Artichoke ink and then embossed my paper! Really like the look!

In this close-up you can see that I also used the matching Sizzix Framelits Die Set - Labels, Fancy #4!  I first die cut one of them on the polka dot paper.  Then stamped the frame and sentiment from the labels4cutting set, and then die cut it.

I have just loved creating easel cards lately!  So this was such a fun challenge.

A previous challenge with Sweet Stamps I created a fun bright colored birthday card similar to this and was once again inspired by it to create another fun one, except this time in an easel card.  I just love the bright colors I used!

Another two images; one of just the front and then the inside.

For this card I used "Candle Wish Duo", what a fun set.  You get the candle along with the cute sentiment I used in the inside:

I also used some Soft Pink and Lilac rhinestones!  I just love all the bling on the front!!

Sweet Stamps Stiches Challenge

Welcome for another Tuesday with Sweet Stamps!!

Our challenge this week is:

Stitches

Real or Faux

 

Here's my creation:

I have never added stitching to any of my projects before, so this was a first time for me, so don't laugh!  I actually think it didn't turn out too bad!  I've been wanting to add stitching to my projects, but just haven't found a simple machine that I like.  But I did buy the We R Memories Stitcher with the different heads, which is what I used for this card.  (I bought it last year and hadn't used it until now!!)  So it was time to try it out!

Anyway, here is a straight on look at the card:

For this easel card I used Firewheel Flower Duo which was one of the new releases in June.  I used the two to create the main background using the masking technique. 


I just love this sentiment, as you can use it for so many different occasions, it's called Special Day.  I think I'm going to use this for a bridal shower card, as my cousin and his fiance are getting married in Hawaii, so the bright colors will be perfect.  A few month's till be leave for the wedding, I can't wait for a vacation!!!

I also used Bold Butterfly Medium next to the sentiment. 

I then added some Creative Inspirations Fairy Dust to give the butterfly a little shimmer. And lastly I added some Teal Pearls.
