Sweet Stamps Challenge #17:

Masculine

Here's my creation:

 I used "Tree 3" for this card, another fun stamp from Sweet Stamps!

I used Shades Dye Ink "Brownie" to stamp the image and then used chalks to fill in the image.

I created another card using this stamp as well, but will be sharing it this Sunday.

Wedding Shower Invites

A friend is getting married in June!!  Both my hubby and I will be standing up as well as the kids!  I'm so excited!!  Her bridal shower was a few weeks ago and I was in charge of making the invites!!

I used both "George and Basic Shapes" and "Storybook" to create these invites.

Of course I had to use some Creative Inspirations Paint on them!! I used "Fairy Dust"

I sponged the backgrounds:

I think they turned out really nice! They were so much fun to make!  And most importantly she really liked them!!

Single Wildflower from D2D

Our Mother's Day Weekend Blog Hop turned out to be a wonderful turnout at Designed 2 Delight.  Thanks to everyone who left such sweet comments!

At the end of the blog hop Faith gave all the participants the "Single Wildflower" digi!  Another new amazing digi from her!

Since I love flowers, I just had to make a card with this image!!

I also tried out something new....a fellow DT member, Kris, had an amazing tutorial on her blog not to long ago on how she colors in her digi's using Photoshop!  You can check it out here.

It was fun coloring in the image in Photoshop, something different!

I created this thank-you card for a friend!

A Layout for Ava

Sweet Stamps Medallions

Sweet Stamps Challenge #16:

Medallions

Here's my creation:

 I used "Six Sided Medallion" for this card!  When I saw this medallion I instantly thought of snowflakes!  What a great chance to get another Christmas card done for this year! The sentiment "I Love Snow", also from Sweet Stamps, I thought was a perfect addition to this card.

Once again I used the Parchament technique to create the snowflake on this card.  I really like the turnout!

I first used "White Dye Ink" to stamp the image on the "Parchament Craft Vellum".  I then used Creative Inspirations Paint "Winter Frost" to add some shimmer to the snowflake.   And lastely used some "Silver" Rhinestones! Such an elegant snowflake!

All White + One Other

Over on the D2D Card Idea's Blog, this week's challenge is "All White + One Other".

I've had this fun "Cup Cake" colored in for awhile now, but haven't gotten it to a card, so I thought I would take this chance to make a card with it.

Aside from the actual image, my other color was purple! A nice clean and simple card!

What a great challenge, as I think many of us get caught up making regular cards most of the time.

I used "Coneflower" for this card:

I actually had colored in this image a few weeks ago and scanned it in to use on a digital layout.  So I decided to now use it for a card!

I used some Creative Inspirations Paint "Fairy Dust" to add some shimmer to the flower.

I have soooooo much fun making this card!! I used duo stamp set called "Candle Wish Duo" from Sweet Stamps!  You get both the candle and the sentiment!

I inked up the candle with a bunch of different colors to match the paper!
