Summer Layout

How exciting!  Cherry Lynn Designs is currently having a Design Tam Call.  I just love their dies!

I created this fun layout for the call, using a picture of my babies from last summer!

I used these Cherry Lynn Design products:

Exotic Butterfly Mini (DL112)

Fanciful Flourish (B117)

French Flair Stackers

I am currently working on an altered jar using some Cherry Lynn Designs dies, but am waiting for the fall bulbs to come out to put in the jar.  It's going to be a gift for a friend who loves flowers.

Sketch Challenge with Sweet Stamps

Welcome to our last week of Christmas in July projects!  This week's challenge at Sweet Stamps is a SKETCH!!!

What a fun sketch!

Here's my creation for this week:

I actually decided to turn the sketch sideways.

 I used a new fun duo set from Sweet Stamps called "Ornaments Silhouette and Outline Duo".  What a fun set as there are so many different things you can do with it.  In this case, I used the ouline stamp on designer paper and cut them out.

And in my opinion, no Christmas ornament is complete until you have a little....
SHIMMER!!

I used Creative Inspirations Paint "Fairy Dust" to add shimmer to the designer paper!  If you haven't tried these paints yet, please do, they are so perfect!  I really like using them!

I am so excited!!!  One of my cards has been published in a magazine!  My first one!  I am so excited!

Paper Creations Magazine - Fall 2011 which goes on sale tomorrow is featuring one of my cards!! YAY!!

I used some Creative Inspirations Paint to add shimmer to the ornaments!  I created a few cards last fall with this stamp and thought it would be fun to create some more for this year!

Christmas in July with D2D

Designed 2 Delight has a fun challenge this week, Christmas in July! 

But the twist is you can't use green and red!!

I used lime green on mine as I really liked this color scheme. (Thought that would be okay since I was using a typical green)

I used "Snowman Love" from D2D.

I love this Bo Bunny paper!  I also used some new metallic inspirations from Creative Inspirations Paint!  They have a new line of hot fix jewels and metallic inspirations!

Here's my creation for this week:

 I really like how this card was turning out, so I made two!

I stamped "Tiny Snowflake Background" in White Dye Ink on Vellum to create the center panel.

I then stamped "I Love Snow" on the button and added Denim Pearls.

The entire month we are having Christmas inspired challenges!  This will surely help get those Christmas cards started, instead of waiting last minute!  I currently have 14 cards done for this Christmas!  Yay!

This week's challenge at Creative Inspiration Paints is:

Inspired By: Your Favorite Die

Here's my creation:

I just love this butterfly die that I got from Sweet Stamps!  It's called "Intricate Butterfly".

I actually cut it out three times and cut one of them to make it smaller.

I used CI Paint "Tutu Pink" to add shimmer to the butterfly! I also used some of the new hot fix jewels and metallic inspirations on this card from CI Paints!

Faith at Designed 2 Delight created this awesome digital image I used for this card recently, called "Spring Fence".
