Sweet Stamps Sketch

For this card I used a "Rose Bouquet Small" from Sweet Stamps.  I just love this stamp, it is so pretty!  I also used the "Fanciful Flourish" die from Cherry Lynn and "Teal Pearls" which can also be gotten through Sweet Stamps.

Here's my creation:

This was a quick last minute card I created for my father-in-law.  He's been starting to ask me to create cards for him, instead of always buying them!  So happy about that!  Anyway he asked for a Baptism card on Monday and needed it Wednesday, geez guys are so last minute! But I managed, and am pretty happy with the turn out.

Anway....I have 10 Layers of paper!! 

I used some Creative Inspirations Paint "Blue Ice" to add shimmer to the cross.

Halloween Fun

I have a fun card today using a digital image from The Stamping Boutique! 

 It's called "A Crowded Mash"!

Such a fun halloween image!

I used Creative Inspirations Paint "Fairy Dust" to add some shimmer to the witches boots and a few other parts of the image!  I just love the shimmer from these paints!!  I also used some of their new Metallic Inspirations!

Yeah, I know you're probably thinking, halloween already?!?!

I was going through my digital images the other day and I came across this one that I have been waiting to use, and as I am ready for fall to be here, I thought I would finally use it!! :)

Sweet Stamps Challenge:

White on White

Here's my creation:

 I used "Daisy Bunch", from the last new release from Sweet Stamps.  I used it to create the background along with a little bit on the front sentiment piece, in which I then colored in. 

I used the French Flair Stackers from Cherry Lynn to create the main focal point.  Then like I mentioned above I used "Daisy Bunch" in the bottom left corner.  We could only use color on our image, so I filled this one in with my ProMarkers.  For the sentiment I used "Thank You Elegant", which I think is so pretty!

I used CI Paint "Citrus" to add a little shimmer to the flowers.  I finished the card off by adding some "Silver Rhinestones" and "Snow Pearls".

Birdhouse Fun

My little guy LOVES being outside helping me in my flower beds and feeding the birds!  For part of his birthday gift, his great-grandparents gave him a birdhouse.  He was so excited!  My aunt mentioned that he should paint it!

Well you don't tell a 3year old that as they don't forget much, which is okay!  So he has been on my case to paint it! So I got out a bunch of paints and just let him go to town!

He had so much fun!  He kept telling me, "This is going to be so pretty!  The birds are going to love it!  They're going to have lots of babies in it!" lol Too cute!

He decided to leave it dry and asked me, "Mommy, it would look really pretty with your special paints!" Referring to my Creative Inspirations Paints!  He always enjoys watching me craft.  And went on to say, "I'll be careful and just use a little."  How could I say no?!?!

So I decided to let him use a few of them to add his own shimmer to the birdhouse, so he was happy!

 Just look at the shimmer!!!  I let him use Fairy Dust, Buttercup, Rose Quartz, Royal Purple, Turquoise and Mango.

You can see right were he used the CI Paints here on the front side!  His birdhouse is very shimmery!!

I just love this image, which is from The Stamping Boutique called "Tulips"!  It's a fairly new digi from Tracey.  Although I know they are done blooming here, I just had to create a card with this pretty digi as I love flowers!

I used Creative Inspirations Paint "Fairy Dust" to cover the frame.  I also used some of their new clear hot fix gems!  I just love them!

Every Flower from D2D

Good afternoon!  We got both kiddos to take a nap this afternoon as we have a big night tonight!  We'll be out late, so we didn't want them crabby!

One of our friends insisted I drive his racecar tonight for the Powder Puff Race!  I'm excited, yet nervous!  It'll be fun to get behind the wheel again!  Sure will bring up a lot of old memories!

Anyway, while they were napping I got to work with this week's freebie from Designed 2 Delight!! 

"Every Flower"

I just love this new digi from Faith!  Under the flowers is the sentiment "every flower is to bloom", but I wanted to use a thinking of you sentiment.  As I plan to give this card to my mom, who hasn't been feeling well.

I printed it twice and cut out two of the flowers to pop them up!

"Racer Lewis" from Prairie Fairy

Bookmark with Sweet Stamps Sentiment

Well there is a first time for everything! 

I have never made a bookmark before!  I had sooooooo much fun!  I think I will be doing this again for those readers in my life!  What fun!

This week's challenge at Sweet Stamps, I'm sure you have guessed by now, is BOOKMARKS!

I decided to do a corner bookmark:

For this bookmark I used a new sentiment from the last release "You Are Loved".  I just love this sentiment for something like this.  I have also been obsessed with the new Cherry Lynn Designs "Mini Exotic Butterflies", which is a set of 3, but I only used one on this bookmark.  The are so much fun to use!  They can be gotten through SweetStamps.com along with the teal pearls and Turquoise CI Paints I used.
