Non-Traditional X-Mas Colors

Sweet Stamps Challenge:

Non-Traditional Christmas Colors

Make sure to join us on the Sweet Stamps blog, we'd love to see what you create. You have a chance at winning $20 to purchase some "sweet" things of your own!! There's plenty of wonderful things to choose from!

Here's the card I created:
I have to admit, this is the first time I really created a Christmas card with orange and blue colors as the main colors!  Kind of fun!

I started off by stamping "Lace Tree" with Shades Dye Ink "Forest" on a green patterned paper from the "Desert Blooms" 6x6 First Edition Premium Paper Pad.  The star was from the die set "Christmas Tree Multi Frame Set".  I then painted the star with "Peach" Creative Inspirations Paint to give it some shimmer.  I love the font of the sentiment "Merry Christmas Script" in which I used on the front.  The other patterned paper I used on this card is from the "Christmas Joy" 6x6 First Edition Premium Paper Pad.  The front was finished off by adding some "Orange" rhinestones! And in the inside I used the "May The Peace" sentiment.

Make sure to check out all the other DT blogs and leave some love!

Have a wonderful day!

Baby Boy

A friend of mine recently had a baby boy, he is so adorable!  Always seems to make me want to have another one!

So I needed to create a card to go with the gift.  I just LOVE this adorable new image from Faith at Designed 2 Delight, called Mouse on the Moon!  What a great baby image.  So I decided to put it in use:

It's my turn to host this week's challenge on the D2D Blog, in which I've chosen "BABY", join in for a chance to win!

The hubby is gone once again this weekend, so it's just the kids and I!! We've rented movies and got some popcorn!  Maybe do a little Christmas shopping and cleaning!

Have a nice day!

Beach Time

It is so sad to think that the nice weather is once again done for awhile!!  Can't wait for some beach time again next summer!  The plus side is that I am off for a few months!!  So that means lots of time with the kids and lots of time to craft!!
A fun digital layout created for my kids albums.  They LOVED getting buried in the sand!

Have a nice day!

Sweet Stamps Red, Green & Gold

Sweet Stamps Challenge:

Red, Green and Gold

Make sure to join us on the Sweet Stamps blog, we'd love to see what you create. You have a chance at winning $20 to purchase some "sweet" things of your own!! There's plenty of wonderful things to choose from!

I created a surprise card using this fun tutorial I recently found.
For the main front sentiment I used "May the Peace", such a perfect sentiment for those holiday cards as well as a fun font.  The paper I used is from the 6x6 Authentique stack "Wonder".  I just love this stack!

When the card is popped up it shows the "Merry Christmas Script" sentiment.

A close-up of the front sentiment "May the Peace".

For the front green strip of paper I used Core'dinations and first embossed it and then sanded it.
The sanded areas stood out a little too much for me.

So I sponged Creative Inspirations Paint "Green Olive" to tone it down a litte and to add some shimmer!

Have a wonderful day!

Princess Layout

I don't have the pictures printed out yet for this layout yet, but have the layout created!  (Wow...so impressed with myself, normally I don't do a layout without having the pictures!)

But I am super happy with how it turned out dispite not having the cute pictures.

My recent trip to Archivers I picked up these new papers that I fell in love with!  And created a "Princess" layout for Ava.

I cut "princess" from my Cricut using the Lyrical Letters cart.
I added "Amethyst" to the letters to add some shimmer!  I just love my Creative Inspirations Paint!  I mean what princess layout is complete without shimmer?!

And....BLING!

Molly at CI Paint has also started carrying hot fix jewels recently!  Another addiction of mine!  So I loaded this layout up with a ton of bling!
I used jeweled inspirations clear SS20.

Although I have been creating a lot of digital layouts recently in an attempt to get caught up on my kids albums, I still love making traditional ones!  I love cutting up paper and get my hands messy with the paints and ink!

Have a great day!

Pumpkin Patch

Here's a layout I created from out trip to the pumpkin patch this year!  The kids had so much fun picking out their pumpkins!!
I've been on a roll creating layouts lately, hopefully this will be the year I get caught up for a change!! Keep dreaming right?!?!  Maybe if I would stop taking so many pictures that would help!  But that won't happen!

Have a nice weekend!

Here's my tag:
I made a few of these fun christmas tags!  The tree and sentiment are part of the "Let It Snow" set.  I just LOVE this set!  When I seen it I knew I had to have it!

I really like the tree, as you can add a ton of bling to it...

The sentiment "Merry and Bright" is a lot of fun as well...
as you can leave it as is or add some shimmer to it!

So Thankful with Sweet Stamps

Sweet Stamps Challenge:

So Thankful

Make sure to join us on the Sweet Stamps blog, we'd love to see what you create. You have a chance at winning $20 to purchase some "sweet" things of your own!! There's plenty of wonderful things to choose from!

For this challenge I was going to create a card, but thought it would be fun to instead create a layout.  So here is what I came up with:

The title is cut out from my Cricut - So very thankful; then around the circle I stamped "for you" 11 times using SweetStamps.com "Especially For You" in Shades Dye Ink "Pansy Purple". I masked the especially and just used the "for you".  I thought it was a great idea, as it is a good way to extend the uses of those sentiment stamps.

Close-up:

For the fun little flowers I used the new "3D Flower Set #2" that I ordered this month!  As I love flower and thought they would be great to use to make your own flowers.  I stamped the flowers on paper from the "Love Letters" paper pad I also just got!  These paper packs from by First Edition Paper are amazing!  So happy to see SweetStamps.com will be carrying them!

I wrinkled them up a little put and glued them in place.  And lastly I added some Antique Rose and Lilac rhinestones!

I hope you've enjoyed my layout today!  Join in our challenges for a chance to win some great products for yourself!

Have a wonderful day!
