Sock Snowmen

Recently two of my good girlfriends and myself got together for some lunch and some quality girl time!

One of my girlfriends thought it would be fun to make these adorable snowmen from socks!  I am so glad she showed us how to create them, they were so fun and easy to make!!

Wish there was more time, I would have loved to create some more for gifts!

Will have to put it on my list for next year!

This is the one we decided to keep for our house:

Colorful Ornaments

As I mentioned Monday, I have two more ornament cards to share with you today using Raisin Boat set Holiday Hang Ups!

The reason, I have waited to share these two with you is because I was inspired by our Christmas tree for these, so I thought I would share a picture of our Christmas tree as well and didn't want to make my post too long the other day!

Here are the cards, I just LOVE how they turned out:

I used some non-traditional Christmas colors for these!! FUN!

On these two I used Creative Inspirations Paint Fairy Dust to add shimmer to the ornaments!

Close-up of one of them:

Now of our a picture of our Christmas tree:
The kids had so much fun helping me decorate the tree this year!

Our personalized ornaments:

We actually decided to put both our trees upstairs this year:
I just love this time of the year!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Quick Holiday Cards

With the holidays right around the corner, I've decided to create some quick holiday cards using some CI Products and one of my newest favorite Raisin Boat stamp sets!!

Yes, I am still making cards!!  My mom has decided to give out some of my handmade cards this year, so I've had to create a few more than expected!

Anyway, I created these fun, quick and easy cards:

On the next two cards, I stamped the ornament image with VersaMark and then embossed them with  Deliquesce Super Sparkle Red and Deliquesce Super Sparkle Gold!
The stamp set I used is called Holiday Hang Ups!!  It was one of the last sets I rented from them!  But it has now been added to my wish list, as I had so much fun using it and there are so many fun things you could do with this set!

Holiday ornaments aren't complete without a little sparkle!! :)  These embossing powders are perfect to add that perfect touch of sparkle!

And as if they weren't sparkly enough, I decided to add some shimmer as well!!

I used CI Paint Gold in some of the white spaces on two of the ornaments to add shimmer!  I also used Winter Frost on the branches!

I also add some Jeweled Inspirations Clear SS20 to the tops the bow!

Close-up of one of the ornaments:

I have two more fun cards similar to share with you, but I am saving them till Thursday for another post!! :)

Have a wonderful day!

My dad really enjoyed using these cards for the business!!

The "Happy Holidays" is from the set Holiday Hang Ups, a recent set I rented from Raisin Boat!!

Cracked Glass with SS

Time for another monthly challenge on the Sweet Stamps blog!

Just a reminder that this challenge lasts until January14th!

Hope you will join in!

----------------------

December's Technique Challenge at Sweet Stamps is:

Cracked Glass

Another first for me!

There's a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers here.

My card:
I found, thanks to the help of the other team members, that this technique worked a lot better for us using the 2" Super Stick Tape rather then the VersaMark Ink.

I also put the image in the freezer for a little while and then took out and it cracked easier for me!
A fun technique!
