Hello Stamping Friends!!
Dare 2B Artzy and My Sweet Petunia have teamed up to have a fun collaborative Blog Hop!!
Designers from both teams are excited to share some fun inspiration with you!!
---
I'd have to honestly say if it weren't for the lovely Misti I most likely wouldn't be into stamping as much as I am. When I was introduced to stamping 20 years ago we only had wood blocks with stamps on and clear stamps were just starting to be introduced. I remember being at my first stamping party and just being frustrated! You'd stamp and the image wouldn't completely stamp. Or it wouldn't be bright enough. So you'd try again and same thing! I can remember thinking to myself, who could enjoy doing this! LOL! And here I am today addicted!!
I LOVE that with the Misti you can re-ink a stamp as many times as you need to and keep stamping the image till it is perfect! I also LOVE that you can use it to create some awesome stamped backgrounds!!
So I'm super excited for this team-up!! I have two projects I created to share with you today!
The first card I created is this super fun shaped card:
I used the new Fruit Loop stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy!! And for this card I decided to use my Mini Misti!
I thought it would be fun to use the Double Dot Framelit Die set to create my shaped card. I was going for the cheerio/fruit loop look!
I then stamped the solid circle image from the set randomly, using my Mini Misti to position them just right!!
Once I liked how it looked, I decided to use the Mini Misti to line up some of the circles again and stamp with Versamark Ink so I could emboss them with clear embossing powder!
Here is a look at the entire Hop:
