Snowflakes are Unique...

Hello Stamping Friends!!

I'm on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog today!!

I have a fun and simple tutorial to share with you today, called Bordered Sentiment!

Grab some supplies:
 Stamps
Ink
Card Base
Card Layer
Cut Strip of Thin Paper
Painter's Tape

Take your main card layer and place the cut thin strip of paper on top where you would like your sentiment to go.  I used a piece of printer paper.  Adhere painter's tape to the thin piece of paper on each side of the card layer to keep it in position.
This will keep the area underneath the paper blank, so any images stamped won't show in that area where we will later stamp a sentiment, creating a "border" around the sentiment, giving this technique it's name "Bordered Sentiment"!!

I decided to place my piece of paper at a slant to give a little interest to the card.

Stamp whatever images you wish! For my card today I decided to get a head start on some Christmas cards, so I decided to use the beautiful SnowflakeWishes stamp set!!  So I started stamping the pretty snowflakes!
I used the Paradise, Midnight Blue and WildOrchid Ink Pads!

When you are satisfied with the design you have created, you can remove the painter's tape and piece of paper!  You are now ready to stamp your sentiment! (I also decided to add the smaller snowflake by my sentiment, which you will see in my finished card!)
You can also use a ruler if you wish to draw a line to accent the border more! Which I have done as well!

My finished card:

Isn't it beautiful?  I sure think so!!

Close-up:

I finished up my card by adding some bling among my beautiful stamped snowflakes!
