Here's the card I created:

What a fun card to make, this was my first time creating this type of card layout.

For this card I used "Watercan Florals", which is the main image on the front and on the inside portion I used the corner stamp from the set "Mum Bouquet and Corner Duo".  Such pretty stamps for a fall card!  I decided to use the stamp "Happy Birthday Script" for the inside of the card, as I have a ton of fall birthdays coming up!

 A close-up of the watering can, that I used Creative Inspirations Paint "Silver Frost" to add shimmer to the can.

And lastly a close-up of the flowers.  I added glossy accents on the berries to give them a little shine.

Flower Fun

Good morning!  Hope you are having a great week!
I have a simple project this morning that was so fun to make for my little girl....

....pretty silk flower for her hair with a ton of shimmer and some bling!

And I just had to share some images of her showing it off......

She thought it was pretty cool!  She kept pointing at it and saying "Oooooo!"

Look at the shimmer!!

I used "Lavender", "Plum" and "Royal Purple".

I'll be making more of these for her!!

Creating Flowers with Stamps

Good morning stampers!

I have a card I created with some of my Creative Vision Stamps that I want to share with you this morning.  Today's post I am sharing a tutorial.

Here's my card:

I used the "Thank You" set for this card.  When I seen this set, I just knew I had to have it as I loved the set.

This is the stamp that caught my eye right away:

I thought it would be fun to use the center flower to make flowers for a card!!

I began by inking up the stamp and using a sponge to add shimmer to the stamp as well.

I used two different ink colors and stamped the image a few times, just to get a few good ones to work with.

I then cut them out.

 Just look at them:

What a great way to extend the use of this stamp by making your own flower embellishments!!  I really like how they turned out!!

The main sentiment of the card I used the masking technique:

as the actual stamp reads "thanks for everything".  I used a post-it note to cover up the "for everything" and then stamped just the "thanks.

This set really has so many options, I really love it!

Finally, here is the inside of my card, in which I have a flower as well the complete sentiment.

Anything But a Card with Sweet Stamps

Sweet Stamps Challenge:

Anything But a Card

At the end of July I created a layout for a DT call using Sweet Stamps products and was inspired by it to create another one for my little guys album, as that one was for my daughter, you can see the previous one here.

Here's my layout for Sawyer:

 Being it is for Sawyer's album, I wanted to keep the colors a little more boyish, so I mainly used green, but then pulled the orange from Ava's dress to use as an accent color.

For the sentiment I used So Sweet.

 I also used Cheery Lynn Dies Fanciful Flourish, Judy's Blooms and Dragonfly for this layout.

 I added shimmer to the dragonflies wings and the flower using Creative Inspirations Paint Mango.

For the two corners I used Framed Daisies by just inking one of the corners and then stamping it onto the layout.  I thought it added a nice element.  Sure is a great way to make another use out of stamps.

D2D Stamp Blog Hop

Good morning bloggers!  I'm so excited to share my card today!  Faith, from Designed 2 Delight, recently has started designing for Whipper Snapper Designs.  Which means you can now get stamps that she has designed!!  How exciting! (I love digital images, but still also LOVE the actual stamps!)

I just LOVE this stamp!!  Isn't she fun!  So many fun things you could do with her!

It's also pretty exciting, as Faith has also started designing digital papers!  I love that if you get attached to a paper you really like in this case, you can just keep printing the sheet as you need it.  I know there are some papers I have that I don't want to use because I like them too much to cut them up!!

For this card I used; Eggplant Dots, Eggplant Grunge, Eggplant Plaid.

I've added pearls to her necklace!

Sweet Stamps Stiches Challenge

Welcome for another Tuesday with Sweet Stamps!!

Our challenge this week is:

Stitches

Real or Faux

 

Here's my creation:

I have never added stitching to any of my projects before, so this was a first time for me, so don't laugh!  I actually think it didn't turn out too bad!  I've been wanting to add stitching to my projects, but just haven't found a simple machine that I like.  But I did buy the We R Memories Stitcher with the different heads, which is what I used for this card.  (I bought it last year and hadn't used it until now!!)  So it was time to try it out!

Anyway, here is a straight on look at the card:

For this easel card I used Firewheel Flower Duo which was one of the new releases in June.  I used the two to create the main background using the masking technique. 


I just love this sentiment, as you can use it for so many different occasions, it's called Special Day.  I think I'm going to use this for a bridal shower card, as my cousin and his fiance are getting married in Hawaii, so the bright colors will be perfect.  A few month's till be leave for the wedding, I can't wait for a vacation!!!

I also used Bold Butterfly Medium next to the sentiment. 

I then added some Creative Inspirations Fairy Dust to give the butterfly a little shimmer. And lastly I added some Teal Pearls.

CI Paints Inspired By: Ribbon

This week's challenge at Creative Inspiration Paints is:

I had so much fun creating this elegant "Thank You" card.  The sentiment is from Creative Vision's set "Thank You".

I used Creative Inspirations Paint "Onyx"  to add shimmer on the die cut!  I haven't used the color yet, so I thought this would be a good time to!  As always...I LOVE the SHIMMER!!

It is kind of hard to tell, but I used two different types of black ribbon and added pink pearls along the middle.

This card would work perfect for thanking anyone, but I was also thinking these would be great thank you cards to make for a bride to send to those who came to her wedding shower.  I can't wait till my sister gets engaged some day, so I can use all these ideas stirring in my head!!  But she is only 15, so I have awhile to go!

PF Snip & Snails

Sweet Stamps Lace Challenge

Once again it is Tuesday, so you know what that means, another Sweet Stamps Challenge!!

Our challenge this week is:

Lace

You can use lace and/or a lacey border.  I decided to use both!

Here's my creation:

 I love how this turned out!  I used Thank You Elegant as the main sentiment on the front of the card.  I also used a Cheery Lynn Die called Fanciful Flourish, but I cut the leaves off as I just wanted a swirl.

I used two stamps to create the background of this card, they include Entwined Roses and Lovely Roses.  I stamped them with VersaMark and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. 

I finished it off, by adding some Soft Pink Rhinestones.

I can't believe next year at this time my little guy will be starting Preschool!!  Not ready, I love having him home when I am off in winter.  We just got papers yesterday, that we have to bring him in for 4K screening in a few weeks. 

Anyway here is my creation for this challenge:

I created this card for a friend, who is a teacher.  She is back to teaching this week and this have been so crazy so I haven't gotten to talk to her in awhile, so I thought a card would be a good thing to put a smile on her face and let her know I was thinking about her.

I was so excited to find the ribbon for this card, it works perfectly!

I used a Stamping Boutique image called "Back to School Desk".
