Hello Stamping Friends!

Today I am on the Inspired By Stamping Blog!!

I decided to finally try a fun background technique I have been wanting to do for a long time now!  You know how it is...there is NEVER enough time in the day to do everything you want to do!

So I finally decided to take some time to give it a try and I am so happy I did, I love how this card turned out!!

I started by grabbing a few supplies:

I started by grabbing my Distress Inks I wanted to use, in this case; Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet and Dusty Concord! 

I grabbed a Round Blending Tool for each color.  And began to have some fun!!

I pressed the tool onto my ink pad lightly and then pressed it onto my white cardstock!  I repeated this step a few times!

It started to look something like this...

 How fun!  Just think of all the fun possibilities!!!

I continued with my other colors as well until I was satisfied with my background...

I then grabbed the Butterflies stamp set and inked the pretty butterflies with my StazOn Opaque White Ink and randomly stamped them on the background I created...

I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!

I used the Fresh Bouquet stamp set for the lovely 'Hello' sentiment and the Big Wonderful stamp set for the 'friend' sentiment!

I finished off the card by adding some lovely IBS Flowers and some silver rhinestones!!

Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Happy Friday Crafty Friends!!

It is that time once again, another fabulous Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!!

The theme this time is....SUMMER!!

With that in mind, I created this fun card using stamps from Dare 2B Artzy!

I stamped the to go cup from the Perfect Blend stamp set two times on white cardstock and once on a piece of Hoot Hoot paper, in which I used the fun flower and leaf side!  With the Blog Hop theme of Summer in mind, I thought it would be fun to paper piece the cup so that it had some flowers on it!!

And after finishing up this card, I realized the card has a 4th of July color scheme going on, so fitting with the hop theme in mind as well!!  Not completely intended!!  Love when that happens!!

YNS June Feature Day

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's Feature Day at Your Next Stamp!!

Feature Day Theme Is....
 2 or More YNS Stamp Sets

Not a problem!!  So many of the YNS stamp sets go together so well!  It's easy to combine them together!!!

I used some of my distress inks to create a fun background and then used the Butterfly Ink Splatter to add butterflies all over my background using both Lovely Lilac Ink and Purple Passion Ink!

I stamped the 'Make Today' from the Whatnot Sentiments Set Nine stamp set on my background.  And stamped the 'Fabulous' from the Whatnot Sentiments Set Ten stamp set in white ink on a piece of pink cardstock!  I then used the coordinating Whatnot Sentiments Set Ten Die Set to die cut the sentiment out! (LOVE that you can do this!!)

Such a fun Just Because card!!

Happy Father's Day

Hello Stamping Friends!


In honor of Father's Day, I have a fun Father's Day card to share with you using dies from Frantic Stamper!!

I used the Deckled Rectangles die set for my first layer on my card base. I also die cut the Ruler, to add as a strip across my card!

I die cut one of the circles from the Deckled Circles die set, so that I could stamp the 'Happy Father's Day' sentiment, from the Tool Time Sentiments stamp set!

I also added the Large Hammer & Wrench die cuts!  And finished the card off by adding some Hardware die cuts!!

I really like how this Father's Day card turned out!!

YNS June DT Dare

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's DT Dare day at Your Next Stamp!!

DT Dare is....
Just For You

Such a fun theme!  I decided to create a card featuring some of the fun new dies!  With the theme in mind, I thought this card, would be fun to use to add with a little gift to give someone just because!!

I started by using the super fun new Stick Frame Die Set!!  I die cut it twice with purple cardstock, layered them together and slightly cut the back one, so that when I used the die again with white cardstock, I could just use the center square and add it, without it sticking up slightly because of the frame behind.  Just keeps it nice and clean in my opinion.

I then used the Flower Garden Die Set, to die cut the stems, flowers and flower pot!  I added a little Almond Latte Ink around the outside of the flower pot, to give it a little shading and added interest.  I absolutely LOVE the flowers with the stitched center!!  I added some Magical Pastel Sparkly Gumdrops to the center of each of the flowers!  And love that you can still see the stitching!!

I finished off the card, by adding the 'simply for you' sentiment from the Bugs and Kisses stamp set, in Purple Passion Ink!

Such a fun and simple card!!

YNS June Release

Hello Stamping Friends!

 It's release day at Your Next Stamp!!!
I just love release day!

So MANY great new stamp sets and dies being released today!!!

I am so in love with all the fun Panel Dies YNS has released over the last few months!

I love flowers, so I am so super excited for the new Flower Panel Die!!

And as you can see I just had to create a shaker card with it!! So fun!!

I also used the new Whatnot Sentiments Ten stamp and Die Set to create the fabulous sentiment!!

I added a cute die cut butterfly by the sentiment as well, which is from the new Flower Garden Die Set!

I finished off this card by adding some yellow Gumdrops to the centers of a few of the flowers!!

Next up I have another fun shaker card!!

I couldn't help myself with the new Stick Frames Die Set!

Combined with the super adorable new Bugs and Kisses stamp set and coordinating Die Set!!

I just love the adorable little bugs in this set!!

I found some inspiration in the fun sketch!!

I decided to work with the fun Crazy Shapes Panel Die!!

The panel die, screams PARTY to me!  So I used the Bold Alpha Die Set to create the "PARTY" sentiment!

On the pattern paper strip behind I stamped the "Happy birthday To You' sentiment multiple times from the Cool Tag Banner Sentiments!!

I really had fun creating this card!!  It turned out so fun!!
