Isn't the truck fun?!  I just loved piecing it together!!

I added the die cut bow to the top of the tree, which is part of the Folk Art Santa (10700) die set!

The 'Merry Christmas' sentiment is part of the lovely Snowflake Wreath (CL-138) stamp set!

Snowflake Christmas Tree with IBS

Good Morning Stamping Friends!!

I am on the Inspired By Stamping Blog today!!

Today I am going to share a quick and easy tutorial with you.

I'm going to use some of my IBS stamps, to once again create my own Christmas tree.

This time it's going to be a snowflake tree!!

Start by collecting some supplies:
 Cardstock
Stamps
Ink

Begin by creating your bottom layer of your tree.
I decided to go with some pink snowflakes first!!

I just eyeballed it! So no real need for a ruler, unless you feel as though you really want one.

Then continue with the next layer.  I decided to switch to a different color as well as a different snowflake design!
I also put these a little tighter together.
But then went loose again with the snowflakes for the next layer.

Continue on up the tree as you wish!

I finished the tree up by adding a trunk!
I thought the light-bulb end from the Festive Greetings stamp set would make the perfect trunk!!
Don't you think?!
It's so fun to find different uses for your stamps, then what they were intended for!!

Here's my finished card:
I used the snowflake in the Christmas Wreath stamp set for the "star" at the top of the tree!!

Just think if all the fun Christmas trees you could create!!

Perfect Holiday Wreath with IBS

Good Morning Stamping Friends!!

I am the featured designer at Inspired By Stamping this week!!

Here is the beautiful card I created:
 Simple, yet so very elegant!
I just LOVE how it turned out!

I LOVE the new Christmas Wreath stamp set!

I am sharing with you today a fun and simple way to make a perfect Christmas wreath on your projects!!

Start by gathering your supplies:

Supplies:
Shades of Green Ink
Christmas Wreath Stamp Set
Cardstock
Circle Die
Pencil

On your cardstock base, lightly trace the inner or outer of the circle die with your pencil.
Any size die is fine, just depends on the size of your project/how big you would like your wreath to be!

I started with my darkest ink first.
Stamp the "branch" around the pencil lines.

Use your different shades of green ink to make it look as full as you would like.
As you can see the pencil line eventually disappears and you have a lovely looking wreath!

Simple and so fun!!

You are then ready to create your card!

My card again:
The Season's Greetings sentiment is part of the Festive Frames set.

 So pretty!!
