Confirmation

My cousin's wife was recently over as she wanted me to help here create her wedding invites!  Before leaving she was looking through my cards and kept saying how much she liked them, sure made me feel good!

Later that night I got an e-mail from her, that she wanted to know if I would make two confirmation cards for her as handmade cards mean so much more than store bought ones!  Put a smile on my face once again, as I totally agree!!

So here is one of the Confirmation cards I created for her, this one is for her Grandma to give to her Granddaughter.  This was a first, as I have never made a Confirmation card before!

I bought a .svg file of a cross that I really liked for the main image.

I used a set of Skipping Stones Design background stamps called "Timeless Textures"!  I just love this set!!
Timeless Textures~Back in stock!!
I used the middle one, which I stamped with VersaMark then embossed with Deliquesce Fine Clear embossing powder from Creative Inspirations!  Then I used CI Paint "Pink Highlights" to add shimmer to the cross!!

I am entering it in this week's challenge at Skipping Stones, they have fun sketch's every Tuesday!!  Here is the sketch I went off of:
Changed it up a little!

Have a great day!!

Love Daisies!!

I just love flowers!! And once again Paper and Such has released another amazing flower set this month!!

The set is called "Daisies"!

Just love this set!
It comes with two images, a large daisy bunch and a small daisy bunch, along with five sentiments!! I also used some of my favorite brand paper My Mind's Eye and twine from the Paper and Such store!

I used the small daisy bunch to create the three circles and then used one of the sentiments for the other circle.

Used some of my Creative Inspirations Paint in Sunshine to add shimmer to this butterfly!  I just love Cheery Lynn Designs butterfly dies!!

Have a nice day!

Easter Baskets

With Easter right around the corner I've been working on little gifts and cards like crazy!

The kids had so much fun helping me create these fun and easy little baskets!

They love handing me supplies when I ask for them!  I also really think they liked helping as there was candy around!! ;)  They're smart!

I used the new "Easter Greetings" from My Thoughts Exactly to create these baskets!  Such a wonderful set!

The three baskets together:
How cute are these?!?!  I just love making them!

 "You're Egg-stra special"
The sentiment from the Easter Greetings are actually meant to say "Have an Egg-stra special day", but these stamps are so great, because you can mix annd match them so nicely!  I decided to use the "You're" from the Lovey Puns Animals set along with just the Egg-stra special from the new Easter Grettings set! How clever!! ;)

"Hoppy Easter"

"Some Bunny Loves you"

Another view:

I just LOVE how these turned out!

Have a great day!  Yay, it's Friday!  Lately, that hasn't mattered as I have been off since November, but this was my first week back for the season!  So I've been so tired all week and couldn't wait till the weekend to just be with the kids!

Peeps

Just love the new Easter Greetings set from My Thoughts Exactly!!

For today's post I've created two fun projects using some Peeps!

For this first one, I created fun "Peeps" wrap to go around a package of peeps!  Sure makes it a little more personal and cute!  And not so boring!

Side view:

I used the Peeps stamp to go around the little opening I created.

For this next one, I just create a topper to a peeps package I made myself.
I just used a sandwich bag to put the 5 peeps in and then put this adorable topper above.

Close-up:

I hope you like what I've done today, I sure had a blast making them!

Check out the MTE Blog for some more great inspiration!

Have a nice day!

Fun with PAPER

Okay, as many of you alread know, I LOVE using Creative Inspirations Paints to add shimmer to my paper!!

Well, today is NO different!

I sat down the other day and had so much fun creating this piece of paper, and let me tell you it sure shimmers!!

First the paper:
I used some bubble wrap to add some fun interest to the paper!  I just love saving bubble wrap and using it to stamp with the paints!

I also decided to get out my marbles and roll the around on the paper as well!
First, I rolled the marble around in the cover and then dropped it onto my paper.

I then used one of my paint brushes to move it around the paper.

Lastly, I thought it would be fun to use a sandwich bag to add some interest to the paper as well!

Just look at all the shimmer:
I used Sage, Tutu Pink, Mango, Sapphire, Plum, Autumn Wheat, buttercup, Tickled Pink and Spring Green!!

You're probably wondering by now what I used it for...

Well I thought it would be a great piece of paper to use to create a layout of pictures of my little guy from dying Easter eggs last year!
I just love how the paper almost looks like the yummy eggs!!

I didn't want to take away from the paper too much and being it was for my little boy's album I kept this layout pretty simple.

The Egg title was created using my Cricut and the little "painting zone" sentiment is from the newly released "Easter Greetings" set from My Thoughts Exactly

The little "to Dye for" sentiment is from this set as well!!

Have a great day!
