I am so excited to share my project with you today!

I was recently asked by Julie, owner of 3 Girl Jam, to be a guest designer!

I was introduced to 3 Girl Jam's wonderful Crinkle Ribbon this  past fall, and instantly fell in love!!

The current challenge on the 3 Girl Jam Challenge Blog is Anything Goes!  Be sure to enter!!

I've been using the Crinkle Ribbon on many of my card, but for today's post I wanted to do something a little different!

One of my late nights in my craft room I got the perfect idea!

Having a little girl in the house, she just loves me creating flowers for her hair and such.  Well I thought it would be fun to create a hair tie for in her hair using 3 Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon and Creative Inspirations Paint!

Here's the hair tie I created for her:
How fun!!  I just LOVE how it turned out!!

I used Crinkle Ribbons in Cherry Lipstick and Baby Girl!  I also added some sheer ribbon of my own.  Along with finalizing it with some Clear Jeweled Inspirations from Creative Inspirations Paint!

My supplies:

I used Tutu Pink on the Baby Girl Crinkle Ribbon and Fairy Dust on the Cherry Lipstick Crinkle Ribbon.

So I started by adding the paint into a zip-lock bag and then the ribbon, trying to cover all of the ribbon.

I then removed the ribbon and left it dry in a little ball.  The paint makes the ribbon harder and also helps so that the ends of the ribbon don't fray! (Make sure to let to ribbon dry completely or it may rip when tying it to the hair band - happened to me as I was anxious to finish the hair tie!)

In progress look:

I finished it off by randomly add some Clear Jeweled Inspirations.

In my daughter's hair, it shimmers so much!
When I gave it to my daughter the look on her face was PRICELESS!  She was so excited and in her words she just "LOVED the diamonds I added to it!!"

My adorable model:

Be sure to check out the 3 Girl Jam store for all the wonderful Crinkle Ribbon, there are so many great colors to choose from!  There is also a lovely Bow Maker that I just love!

Have a great day!

Kid Valentine's

I was hoping to get this posted last night, but I found myself snuggling with the kids all night!

My little guy, who I think is following my footsteps, decided he didn't like the idea of buying his Valentine's, he wanted to make them on his own!!

Here they are:
I helped him cut out all the critters and stamp the sentiment, but he enjoyed adding the hearts and bling!

The critters are from the Create a Critter cart!  One of my fav. Cricut cards!!

They turned out so cute and most importantly he was so excited to give them to his friends!!

A close-up of one of them:
I used my favorite stamp set from My Thoughts Exactly for this one, along with a few of the other ones!!  The set is called Lovey Puns Animal

Have a wonderful day!

Triple Stamping with SS

Time for another monthly technique challenge on the Sweet Stamps blog!

Just a reminder that this challenge lasts until March14th!

Hope you will join in!

----------------------

Technique Challenge at Sweet Stamps is:

Triple Stamping

My card:
Since I have been dreaming of Spring lately, I decided to use the Bold Butterfly stamps for my card!!  I used all three of them; the Small, Medium and Large!

As you can tell I went with a purple theme!  I used some Purple Grandeur Core'dinations cardstock.

The parchment butterfly is the Bold Butterfly Large!
With this parchment butterfly, I decided to do things a littler differently, then I normally do.  I stamped the butterfly in Shades Dye Ink Pansy Purple and then embossed with Pearl Fine Detail Embossing Powder on vellum!  I just love this embossing powder!

And I finished it off by adding a few Lilac rhinestones!

Have a wonderful day!

IBSIC #46

For today's project I created a fun little notecard using IBS's new Fancy Labels Die 1!!
Simple, yet perfect for any reason!  The beautiful frame is from the Flowers Bloom set and the sentiment is from the Just Because set!  Both of which are newly released!!

I just love the sets along with the die!!  So beautiful!

The inside sentiment is from the Fancy Sentiments set, a collection of beautiful sentiments!
I also stamped the single rose from the Flowers Bloom set on the inside!

This little notecard was so much fun to create, they would make quick and fun thank you cards as well!!

Romance

With Valentine's Day this week, I decided to create a Valentine's Day card!

I recently ordered the Heart to Heart Frame, which I just love!

I didn't realize I didn't have a big enough piece of vellum to stamp the entire heart, so I just did the inner heart.  I thought it would be fun to use the Parchment Craft Technique for this card!
I stamped the Valentine's Day Script sentiment in Dutchess Rose and then embossed with Pearl Fine Detail EP!  I love the effect!

IBSIC #45

With Valentine's day next week and the lovely photo to find inspiration from this week, I decided to create a Valentine's Day card!
For this card I used the Hearts set from Inspired By Stamping. I started by creating the base in Make The Cut, using the lovely cutting files Joanna has created to go with the set, which can be found on the site with the stamp set.

I cut the heart from the front of the card, so that I could stamp the heart in the inside along with the sentiment.

The Hearts set is perfect for those Valentine's Day cards!!

Here's a look at the entire set:
