Heartfelt Thanks with Red Rubber Designs

Hello Stamping Friends!

This week's Inspirational on the Red Rubber Designs Blog is hosted by Mary Anne!

Inspirational #109 Heartfelt Thanks
What a wonderful inspirational!  I believe it is so important to thank those lovely people in our lives!  Even if it is the smallest thing they do!

Recently I had a lovely crafty friend send me a stamp set for no reason, just because she knew I liked it!  She was selling some of her stamps and wanted that particular set to go to a good home!  I had commented I liked it, but knew my husband would probably think I am crazy buying more stamps!  Little did I know, a few days later I found it in my mail box!  What a wonderful surprise!  Thanks so much Iva!!  I really appreciate it!

So I created this heartfelt thank you card with her in mind and sent it to her:
I started off by choosing my colors!
I have really liked black and turquoise lately!

I love the Fabulous Frames set!
I found that the particular frame I used from the set works perfectly with the Spellbinders Labels 4 Dies!!
The lovely swirls are from the Fancy Curls set!  Another lovely set!!
The Thank You sentiment is from the Savvy Sayings set!

This week's Sweet Stamps Challenge is:

Favorite Color(s)

What's your favorite color?
Is it the same color you find yourself using on most of your cards?

For me, my favorite color is YELLOW!
But I don't necessarily find myself using that color on my projects often.  I really like crafting with pinks and purples!! (Which are also my favorite colors!

So that's why I challenged myself for this challenge to use Yellow!  Along with black, as I like those two colors together.

Sympathy cards are not fun to create at all!  Least of my favorites for sure, but I do really like how this card turned out.  Kind of uplifting and soothing I think.

I love the new Foliage #1 Clear Stamp Set!
It was so much fun to just add the bling to the center of these flowers!

Beautiful Wedding Card with GI

Happy Monday Stamping Friends!

It's my day to post on the Great Impression Stamps Blog!
I have a elegant wedding card to share with you today!!

I used the new Flowered Heart (H250) to stamp on the background a few times.  And embossed them with some pearl embossing powder.
I then stamped one on white paper and embossed with silver embossing powder and fussy cut it out to pop up on the front!
I just love how it turned out.

I used the lovely Beautiful Forever (F43) sentiment as well.
Such a great wedding sentiment.
I masked the sentiment so that I could emboss just the "beautiful" with silver embossing powder.
Love the look!

Such a fun wedding card!
And just another straight on view of the card.  I had a touch time taking a photo of this card with all the shiny silver!!

Happy Anniversary with GI

Happy Monday Stamping Friends!

It's my day to post on the Great Impression Stamps Blog!

Today is a special day for me! :)  It's mine and my hubby's anniversary!  We've been together for 13 years! Wow!  And married 7 years now!  Just seems like yesterday he won over my heart!  Time sure flies!

I created this Anniversary card for him:

A simple, yet elegant Anniversary card!

I love the new Dotted Heart Border (E826)!
Why?  Well the second I saw the stamp I knew it was going to be so fun to use to be able to use the hearts as a template to create your own heart "blinged" embellishments!  There is perfect spacing between each dot, for you to add bling to each of them!  No more needing to buy special heart shaped bling!  YAY!

I stamped the smaller heart in this instance just above the left of the Happy Anniversary (E42) sentiment. I then used silver bling, which I added on each dot!  You no longer can see the stamped heart!  And instead just created your own heart shaped bling!
I love it!

Paintings

Happy Valentine's Day
to all my fellow crafty blog friends!!

I have something a little different to share with you today!

I had seen some fun craft ideas on Pinterest lately. I decided to buy the kiddos some canvases to paint on and create some paintings for decor in the house!

I always love their artwork!!

My son created this one...
I let him go crazy painting it:
Then I painted the "L" and "E", the handprint is his, then for the "V" the footprint on the left is his and the one on the right is my daughter's!

Fun!!

Here is the one my daughter created:
I helped her outline her hands with red paint to make the heart.

Aren't they fun?!
My kids had so much fun making them!!

They sure take after their mommy! :)  They love crafting!!
I spent some time with them in my craft room the other night, helping them make Valentine's Day cards! It was so cute!

Have a lovely Valentine's Day!
We have a fun weekend planned with the kids!

Dreaming of Spring Flowers with Red Rubber Designs

Hello Stamping Friends!

This week's Inspirational on the Red Rubber Designs Blog is hosted by Lynda!

Inspirational #107 Dreaming of Spring Flowers
I am totally dreaming about my flowers coming up in spring!
I can't wait!
My other passion is my flowers!!

I had to join in this inspirational!!

For my little gift bag I created I used the Lovely Peony set!
I just LOVE the peony stamp in this set!
Isn't it beautiful?!
I actually only used part of the flower, I will be using the entire peony flower in a card coming up! ;)

I also used the fun Running Stitches set!
I love the faux stitching!
I have always dreamed of being able to stitch on my projects, but I just do not have the patience right now to figure out a sewing machine!!  So this stamps set is perfect!!
