Here's a layout I created from when I took my little girl to get her ears pierced!

I was asked to create a card featuring the new Birthday Greetings set!  I just love this new set.

I seem to always have trouble with sentiments for the inside of my cards, well I no longer have to worry!!  This set has some wonderful sentiments!!

First off, I used "The more candles the bigger the wish" sentiment for the front of my card from the Birthday Greeting set.

I also used the Little Phrases set to create the Happy Birthday, celebrate, wishes row of sentiments!

Then for the inside I used another sentiment from the Birthday Greeting set:

Here's wishing you all the special things in life

That bring you happiness.

Sneak Peek with PAS

I have a sneak peek of one of the stamps being released from Paper and Such this month!!

When I was creating this card, my little guy was spending some time with me in my craft room and wanted to color the image, so I stamped a few Paper and Such images for him....next thing I know he was asking for my camera to take a picture of them! lol  He really knows of this card making/blogging works!  As he then asked if I could post it for him!! :) 

I could resist as I was so proud of him, so with further here you are, my son's beautiful work:

For only being almost 4 years old, I think he did pretty good!

IBS June Sneak Peeks

Friday is the June release day at Inspired By Stamping!!
There's some more great sets being released!!

The first card I created for my mom and dad for their upcoming Anniversary!

I used 3 new stamp sets on this card!

The beautiful rose is from the new Elegant Flowers set!
(This is such a beautiful set!)

The "anniversary" is from the new Little Phrases II set and the "Happy" is from the previously released set Little Phrases! I just love all the possibilities with these two sets!!

Lastly, if you notice the paper behind the flower and sentiment  is stamped with a new background stamp!  I just love creating my own papers once in and awhile, so I am so excited for this set!!  It's called Background Basics!

I have also used some lovely flowers from the IBS store!!

Next, up is a birthday card!

 I used the new Elegant Flowers to create the beautiful roses on the front of the card!
The Birthday sentiment is from the All Year Wishes II set and the pretty frame around it is from the Beautiful Ovals set.

Here's a close-up of the paper I created:

I used the new Background Basics to create this piece of paper! It turned out so nice!  It was stamped with VersaMark on white paper and then embossed with clear embossing powder.  I then used some of my shimmer paints and two ink colors to sponge the entire piece.

Lastly, here is a look in the inside of the card:

Love the new Birthday Greetings set!! So many beautiful sentiments in this set!

Lastly, I have a fun tag I created:

I created this tag using the new Cross Stitch with Deb Hickman set!!

I have to admit I know nothing about cross stitching!  Have too many things I am into already, that I don't know that I will ever get into it, but I loved working with this set!

I decided to create a tag using the heart and one of the sentiments from the set that could be used to add to a package given to someone.

This tag would be perfect to add to a wrapped package with a cross stitched project inside!

I just LOVE the flowers in the IBS store!!

For Dad with SS

Sweet Stamps Challenge:

For my Father's Day card I used Tree 3 as my main focal point image.   SweetStamps.com has a few different tree images that work great for masculine cards!  It's perfect paired up with the New Leaf paper from First Edition.

Crazy 4 Flowers

Flowers....Flowers....Flowers

My little girl just loves me doing her hair...as she loves when I put flowers in her hair!  Recently we had a mommy/daughter day and went shopping, one of our stops was Hobby Lobby!

She loved all the different flowers, so I thought it would be fun to create a few clips for her hair, I made one last year and hadn't had a chance to create more.  Well it was pretty hard telling a little determined 2 year old she only could pick a few....she kept telling me "I love these too mommy!" 

This is what we ended up getting:

Plus I ended up digging in my stash and found a few others to use!

She was so excited to put them together!!

The cutie wanted to use my CI shimmer paints to make them pretty!  While I was painting the flowers she kept saying "So sparky"!!  I had to giggle to myself....too cute!

They are so simple to make:

I first painted all the flowers I wanted to use with the shimmery paints!

Then I added a little hot glue on one of them:

Quickly, smashed the two together:

I added a gem or brad on each of them.

Lastly, I ran a line of glue on the underside of the flower and quickly put the clip in the glue, but made sure to hold the clip open so that if didn't glue the clip shut. 

So here are the finished flowers:

I used "Light Purple" on the bottom left flower, "Pink Highlights" on the bottom right flower and "Blush" on the polka dot pink flower!

My favorite one, as I love yellow!!

I used "Sunshine" on the flowers!  I also used SS20 and SS30 Jeweled Inspirations in the center of the flowers!

Her favorite:

I used "Tutu Pink" on the zebra print flowers and "Coal" on the black flower and SS30 clear Jeweled Inspirations in the center.

Wedding '09

My husband and I both stood up in one our friend's wedding in 2009, and I hadn't made a scrapbook page yet, so I decided to quickly create a digital layout. 

I just love the pictures:

I've been on a mission to try and get caught up on both the kids scrapbooks, the problem is I keep taking a TON more pictures!!! ;)
