Monthly Technique Challenge: Embossing
Sympathy cards are by far my least favorite to create.
Recently a special friend of mine lost her godfather, so she asked that I create her a special card to give his family.
This is what I came up with:
With our Monthly Technique Challenge, Embossing, in mind I decided to do both dry and heat embossing.
If you didn't know, SweetStamps.com is now Home of Globecraft & Piccolo (formerly Globecraft Memories / Piccolo Decor)! For this card I used some of the awesome bookboard accent crosses! Love them! Perfect for sympathy cards, confirmation, etc. cards/projects!!

I just love the Pearl Embossing Powder!

This is just beautiful, Kendra. I love the two different embossed backgrounds and the bit of aging you've added. The crosses are so lovely too, very elegant. Hand crafted sympathy cards mean so much.
Loving the combo of embossing- love the soft pearl words behind the cross- and the bling you added. The cross layered like that is fab!
Beautiful Sympathy card, love the embossed layers and the simple crosses.
Nice Easter card and nice job with the challenge.
