Polka Dots Please with IBS

I created this super fun, simple masculine Birthday card:

I love the lines I stamped using the Background Basics Lines!!

I thought it would be fun to add some polka dots as well, but didn't have a stamp I could use.

So why not create my own!!

So I am going to share how I created them!

Collect Your Supplies:

Stamps
Ink
Ruler
Cardstock
Pencil with good new eraser

I started by using my ruler to stamp the lines straight.

I then also used my ruler again to help my "polka dots" straight along the lines.

Dab the eraser top on the ink pad and then on your cardstock as you wish!

Super fun and EASY!!

You can create any kind of designs if you wish!

And to be clear, this is an "odd" shaped card!  I didn't want it to be your traditional rectangle.  So I cut the edges on a slant.

Close up of the lines, "polka dots" and sentiment:

The sentiment is part of the Big Wishes II set!!

So next time you need some polka dots and don't have a stamp....grab your pencil!

Big Wishes II

Love You More with IBS

Happy Sunday Stamping Friends!!

I have created a fun card today using some Inspired By Stamping products!!

I am totally in love with this card I am sharing with you today!

I started by stamping the fun "you" from the new Spring Bouquet set.  LOVE the fun font!!

I then masked the "I Love You More" sentiment from the Big Wishes II stamp set, so that I would only be stamping the you! I love how the more fits so nicely with the you!!!

Looks as the are originally together!

I finished up by cutting the "love" from my Silhouette and adding the fun little heart which is part of the Pretty Planners set!

So fun!!

IBS Washi Tape

It's the 20th of the month, which means Inspired By Stamping, is having a blog hop featuring a different technique, idea or color combination!!

This month the hop is based on the wonderful new WASHI TAPE set!

I am in LOVE with this set!!

I have really enjoyed creating my own washi tape with this set!

I created a fun, bright birthday card:

Just look at the fun Washi Tape designs!!  How fun!!

I stamped 3 of the washi tape styles from the set!
