IBS May Sneak Peeks

Good morning !! 

Tomorrow is release day at Inspired By Stamping!!

This month we have changed things up a little bit!  For now on each of us will be in a group to showcase certain new stamp sets being released!  Plus some more inspiration throughout the month!!

The first set I used was the new Daisies set!!  LOVE LOVE LOVE! I created a layout for my little girl's album of pictures from last fall!!  I just love these pictures!

The flowers and "You Make Everything Beautiful" sentiment are from the new Daisies set! 

I also used the set Beautiful Ovals!  I just love the IBS stamps that go with the Spellbinders dies!  I think this title turned out so fun along with the flowers!!

For this next layout I used the new Inspiring Sentiments, what a great set this is for not only making cards, but for layouts as well!

I was inspired to create a layout using some pictures of the kids with some fun lego creations we made!  We love building with legos!!

These little sentiments were perfect, as my little guy usually always uses the words "Awesome, Amazing, Wonderful and Fantastic" when he talks about our neat creations!!

Lastly, I have a card I created using the Amazing Inspirations and Little Flowers set.

I ended up using the Live, Laugh, Love sentiments in the set to create this card that I thought would be nice for an Anniversary card.

The flowers on the DP paper is a flower stamp from the Little Flowers set that I stamped and then embossed with white embossing powder!  How cool!  Love how it turned out, almost looks as though the flowers were part of the paper!!

PAS May Release

Good morning! Today Paper and Such is having their May release! 

You should have came here from Julie's blog, if not please start at the Paper and Such Blog, you don't want to miss anything.

 There is one stamp set being released today called Strawberry!!  We are also taking a look back at the Deer Dad set!

I decided to create a card for my friend with the Strawberry set!

 What a sweet set this is!!  I used the flower from the set to create the paper, the sentiment and also used the two strawberries!

Here is the card I created:

Turned out a little different then I first pictured in my head, but that's okay!  I still am happy with how it turned out!

I just LOVE the Dot Butterfly stamp!!

At first I wasn't going to usedmy CI Paints on the butterfly and just leave it plain, but I love my shimmer!!  So I used Ivory, Sky Blue and Coal to add a ton of shimmer to the butterfly!  I also used my Pearl Pen on the dots of the butterfly!

When I seen the spread I got all excited and jittery!!  Oh....happy dance!! :)

Bridal Shower

My Mother-In-Law had two bridal showers in one day!  She has started to ask me to make all her cards for her as she really enjoys my cards and thinks they are so much better to give than store boughten ones!  YAY!!  Makes me happy!

Only problem was, she asked be for 2 bridal shower cards the day before she needed them!  I didn't have any on had and hadn't had mojo!  Couldn't get my thoughts rolling with ideas, so I thought I would turn to Splitcoast Stampers!  Love all the inspiration you can find on there!

I found two ideas, that I thought were fun and helped me get them made for here!

I just love this first one:

I used my cricut to cut the bridal gown shape out of two circles!!  I saved this file as I will surely be using it again!!  So elegant!

Also very elegant!  I also used circles to create this dress.

These pictures were taken May of 2010!  Just look at that SMILE!  A person can't help but smile themselves when you look at these pictures.

I can't believe how fast my little girl has grown.  Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it!

MTE Birthday Card

I have two Birthday cards to share with you today using some My Thoughts Exactly stamps!

The first one is a bright Birthday card!!  My teenage sister just loves bright colors along with polka-dots, so I think this is the perfect card for her:

I used the Big Thoughts stamp set from My Thoughts Exactly for the sentiment.  These little sentiments are so much fun to use!!  I just love them!!  It's fun putting together the different sayings!!

Added a little shimmer to the candles with my paints!!

The second one is a manly one, which I shared yesterday for our Blind Blog Hop, but thought I would show it off again:

A clean and simple card for one of the race fans in the family!

I used the Big Thoughts set for this card as well.  I just love these new sentiment stamps!!  They are so fun to put together and you get so many different combinations in each set!
