It's DT Dare day at Your Next Stamp!!

DT Dare is....
What's Up?

We were asked to create a Hello/Just Because type of card or use Pop-Dots to pop up images!!

I decided to use the adorable new Puddles of Fun stamp set for my dare project!!

This chick jumping in a puddle is just too cute!!  

I added some Distress Oxide Ink lightly to my white card layer and then used pop-dots to pop up the image above, to make it look like she's splashing in a fun puddle!!  I also used pop-dots behind this white layer to added to my card base!

I used a generic sentiment, also from the Puddles of Fun stamp set, a nice card to give someone just because, to check in or cheer up if they are down!

Personalized B-Day Card

Hello Stamping Friends!

Today I have a card I created using stamps from the Crafty Doodle Chick shop!!


I used the fun Birthday Balloon stamp set by Sunny Studio Stamps to create a fun CAS card!! 

I started by creating my fun pink card base!  I get so use to always creating white card bases that I thought it would be fun to create a colored one for this special card!!

I then created a white layer slightly smaller then the base.  I then grabbed the super fun Brooklyn Alphabet from Frantic Stamper to die cut my daughter's name from the layer!  This then allowed me to stamp my 'Happy' and 'birthday' sentiment from the Birthday Balloon stamp set!  As I wanted the bottom of the 'y' in birthday to fall in the middle of my die cut v!

I then stamped my pretty pink balloon!!  As well as the bow!  The string from the 'y' to the balloon was created with a black marker and my ruler!  

I finished my shaker part of the card and adhered it to my base!

I finished the card by adding some fun stars!

I absolutely LOVE these super fun flowers!!  

I also used the lovely Large 'Hello' (09217) die for my sentiment!!

YNS March Release

First up, I am showcasing the new Whatnot Sentiments Set Twelve stamp set!!  I just love the Whatnot Sentiment series!!  So many fun sentiments in one set!!

My Card:

I decided to also use the new  Geometrics 6x6 Paper Pad, which I absolutely LOVE, to find my color inspiration from!!

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock, added some Distress Oxide Ink around the edges and then did some masking and stamped the flowers from the Whatnot Sentiments Set Twelve stamp set around the sentiment!!  I really like how it turned out!!

I just love this sweet chick with the froggie umbrella!!

I used the Puffy Cloud Border Die Set and new Raindrop Die to create my inside scene.  I didn't stamp anything inside yet, but there is room to or to be able to just write something!

Fun!!  I really like how this card turned out!!!

YNS March Preview Day

Well I am absolutely in LOVE with this new stamp set!!

It's called Countryside Cuties!!!  The set is absolutely adorable!!

The set contains this adorable bench along with one other fun scene builder!  And eight animals to add to the scenes!!  I just love it!  Along with five sentiments!!

Creating this card sure has made me wish for spring and flowers!!

Birthday Shaker

I have a fun card to share with you using dies from Frantic Stamper!!

I absolutely LOVE the new Brooklyn Alphabet!!

 There are so many fun possibilities in this die set!  I couldn't put the set down!!

It's great for customizing cards as well as scrapbook/project life pages!!

Shake! Shake!!

I used the Many Happy Birthdays stamp set for my 'birthday' sentiment!  Which I stamped on a die cut banner from the Stitched Double Fishtail Label die set!  I also used the die set to cut a banner from a piece of blue pattern paper to place behind my sentiment!!

Hello Sweet Stamping Friends!

I decided to go with the March 3rd Holiday - I Want You To Be Happy Day!!

With that in mind I garbed the lovely Build A Pretty Flower stamp set!!

I stamped the flowers in some bright fun colors!  Sure to make the recipient HAPPY!!

I also used a fun sentiment - 'Hello Beautiful'!  I love this sweet sentiment!  A good one to put a smile on the recipients face!!  We all like to be told we're beautiful!!

Sparkle

Special Mom

I have a fun gift card holder to share with you using dies from Frantic Stamper!!


As I mentioned earlier this month, I absolutely LOVE the new Seed Packet (10399) die set!!  This time I decided to alter it slightly to create a fun gift card holder!!

I started by die cutting the package, trimming off the top and bottom tabs.  And not using the Seed die layer.  I just cut out some layers from cardstock to place on the front of the packet: 

I stamped the 'Special' from the All In the Family (CL-044) stamp set!  I then used the For Mother (10413) die set to die cut the 'Mom' sentiment!

I also added the lovely Beautiful Hydrangea (10408) to the front of my packet!  My mom loves the color blue!!  Which is why I decided to use a lot of blue!!

A look at the inside:

I die cut some of the little hydrangea flowers for the inside and added the 'YOU are' and 'wonderful' from the Lovely & Gorgeous Sentiments (CL-065) stamp set!  I love that stamp set so much!!  So beautiful!!

I used the Gift Card Corner Holder (10301) die set to add the inserts for me to slip in the gift card!!

Birthday Wishes

Hello Stamping Friends!

Today I have a card I created using stamps from the Crafty Doodle Chick shop!!

I used the fun Birthday Balloon stamp set by Sunny Studio Stamps!!  Along with it's coordinating Birthday Balloon Die!!

I started by creating my main card base, blueish cardstock layer and then a white cardstock layer slightly smaller.  I used my circle dies to die cut a circle from the white layer.  At first I was going to make a shaker card with the balloons, but then another idea came in to mind!!

I stamped the 'birthday' and 'wishes' sentiment in black ink near the bottom of the white layer.  I then stamped the little swirly images in the stamp set in different colors to look like confetti falling!!   I really like how it looks!! 

I then had some fun stamping the balloons!  I used one color for each balloon, I let each layer dry before adding the next layer.  I decided to use more masculine colors as I never really have masculine Birthday cards on hand.  You could also use different shades of ink color to create the balloons if you'd like!

I then die cut each of the balloons out and started arranging them the way I would like.  I placed a piece of  pattern paper behind in the die cut opening and gently marked where my balloons would be.  So that I could stamp the balloon strings!!  Once they were stamped I adhered the pattern paper behind the opening of my confetti stamped layer.  I then adhere the layers to my blueish cardstock layer!

I then once again arrangement my balloons!  The front two I placed using pop-dots behind to add some dimension!!

I finished off the card by adding some sequins!!

Love it!  Such a fun birthday card!!
