Daisies

It's been awhile since I have stamped on watercolor paper, so I thought I'd use this fun daisy image from the set "Daisies" by Paper and Such for my card today to use that technique!

I first stamped the image on watercolor paper and then used Deliquesce Fine Black Embossing Powder from Creative Inspirations to emboss it.  I find that embossing really helps to keep the CI Paints in the area you would like.

Next I used my water brush to use the paints to add shimmer to the daisies.  I used Citrus, Mellow Yellow, Canary and Sunshine for the flowers.  Green Olive was used for the stems and leaves. 

As I was painting the image in, I quickly realized how much I missed using this technique!  It's so fun and gives such a beautiful shimmer to the image.
