Naked Stamping with Red Rubber Designs

Hello Stamping Friends!

This week's Inspirational on the Red Rubber Designs Blog is hosted by the lovely Pam!

Inspirational #131 Naked Stamping!!

Create a one layer papercrafting project with JUST stamping on it!

This was an inspirational I had to try out!
As I knew it was going to hard for me!

I am so use to have multiple layers!
As well as tons of BLING!  I always say no project is complete without bling!

So let me tell you....it was very hard not picking up my bling!!

Here is the card I created:
I create a butterfly stencil from a die and stamped some swirls inside from the Fancy Curls set!

The sentiment is from the For Everything stamp set!
And not being able to touch my bling, I decided to add some faux stitching using the Running Stitches set!

Adds a nice finished touch, I think!
I'm always so envious of people who can stitch on their cards, I love the look, but I just don't know how to!  So the Running Stitches is perfect for me!!

Christmas in July with GI

Happy Monday Stamping Friends!

It's my day to post on the Great Impression Stamps Blog!

It's NEVER to early to start those Christmas cards and tags!

So with it being July still....I decided I would do a Christmas in July post for my last GI post this month!

Here's a fun tag I created:

I just love adding handmade tags to my gifts!

I love the Decorative Bulbs (H112) stamp!
Such a pretty image!

I also used the Season's Greetings (C427) sentiment.

I ended up using a shimmer mist after I was done with the tag to add glitter to the entire tag!
Adds the perfect touch!

The new Pretty Planners set is so fun and so very versatile!!

I couldn't live without a few calendars around to keep track of things we have going on!
This set is even fun for kids!

My kids love crafting with me, so we set down and created a calendar for July with the new Pretty Planners set!
How fun!!

The "July 2014" was created using the Fancy Alphabet set!

Best part?

End of Summer Creations with GI

Happy Monday Stamping Friends!

It's my day to post on the Great Impression Stamps Blog!

I am SUPER excited, we are switching things up a little bit!
Each month we are going to have a week on the GI Blog where the designers will be sharing projects other than the normal cards and tags!

So with the "End of Summer Creations" in mind, I decided to take a fun jar I had sitting on my shelf and alter it!

At first, I wasn't sure what I was going to put inside of the jar, but it hit me as I was finishing up, how fun would it be to put bubbles inside?!

So I did just that!
I created a label out of the Summertime Flowers (F269) to adhere to the jar.

Here's a look at the image going through my sticker maker:

Close-up:
What a fun image!

And what a fun idea for kids!!

Race Fan

Hello crafty friends!

Today I have a digital layout to share with you!

Each year we try to take the kids to the local race track, as they just love watching races!

Seeing how excited the two of them get while watching the races, really makes me miss being behind the wheel!

I would love for hubby and I to still be racing, as they would for sure be our #1 fans!  It would be so neat to have them cheering for us!

It was amazing the # of fans I had when I raced and to have these two watching me would have been fun to experience!

But it was such an expensive sport and took up so much time!  So for that I do not miss it as we have so many other things we have been able to do!

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Floating By with GI

Happy Monday Stamping Friends!

It's my day to post on the Great Impression Stamps Blog!

I have a super fun card to share with you, using some new stamps from GI!

I think the Up Up and Away (H256) is such a cute/super fun stamp!
I also used the new Just Floating (E648) sentiment!
I decided to break it up into 3 different pieces to make the sentiment kind of float around the image!

Here's a close-up of the balloon:
How fun!!

As always, I am SUPER excited to share my card with you today!!
I love how it turned out!

I love the new Birdie Swinging (F584) stamp!!

Isn't this birdie adorable?!

I used the My Friend (B181) sentiment, as well as using the new Flitting Butterflies (A32) to add around the sentiment!
I thought the Flitting Butterflies (A32) added a nice touch to the sentiment!
