Fabulous Day

Hello Stamping Friends!

I have a fun card to share with you using dies from Frantic Stamper!!

I used the super fun Quilt Rectangle background die to create this fun shaker card!  I kind of stuck with a rainbow theme, to make it as fun, bright and cheery as possible!!
I used the  Lovely and Gorgeous stamp set to stamp the "Have a" and "day" sentiments!  I then used the Fabulous die cut for the middle portion of my sentiment!

I don't know what it is about rainbow colors, but it always seems to make me giddy and in a good mood!!  I just love color!!

Fabulous Layout

Hello Stamping Friends!

I have a beautiful layout to share with you using fun new dies from Frantic Stamper!!

My daughter is very much a girly girl, but can also be a tom boy!  I just love it!

Occasionally she just LOVES putting on all of her pretty gems!!

So recently I snapped a photo of her with them all on, to scrap for your album!
I just love how this 6" x 12" layout turned out!

For my main title, I used the Lovely and Gorgeous stamp set along with the Fabulous die cut!  Which I stamped the "You are" and placed the die cut on a Nested Double Ended Tag!
I die cut some flowers from the Lacey Blooms One die set and some beautiful swirls from the Swirly Things die set, in which I placed behind my die cut tag!  LOVE these die cuts!!

I am ABSOLUTELY in LOVE with the Lovely and Gorgeous stamp set!  This sentiment set is filled with so many mix and match possibilities!!  I especially love the 5 large gorgeous cursive fonts in the set!!

I ended up using the "gorgeous" and "lovely" sentiment stamps for the two green border stripes I used, one for the top of the layout and one for the bottom.
I really liked that I was able to stamp the sentiments continuously!  When lined up, you can stamp them to look like they are one long continuous stamp!  So GORGEOUS in my opinion!!!

This stamp set will be used often by me!!

Be sure to check out the Feminine Style release, I am so in love with so many of these new dies, I can't contain myself!

Have a lovely day!

Margarita Day with YNS

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's Feature Day at Your Next Stamp!!

Feature Day Theme Is....
Margarita Day

Today is National Margarita Day which focuses on appreciating the margarita, a tequila-based alcoholic cocktail.  The origins of National Margarita Day are not well documented, although accounts of the day begin to emerge in the 1990s.
A margarita is cocktail made of tequila, triple sec and either lime or lemon juice served in a cocktail glass with salt on the rim.  Like the origin of the holiday, the origin of margarita is unclear as numerous bar tenders worldwide have laid claim on the drink's creation.   Several bartenders and restaurant owners in Mexico allege to have created the drink for a female friend with a name similar to Margarita.  Given that the cocktail contains tequila, the drink may have originated somewhere in Mexico. In fact, the tequila used in margaritas is made from blue agave plants that grow in Los Altos, Mexico. This holiday is observed every year on February 22nd.

I've honestly never really heard of Margarita Day! But I'd love to celebrate with one!! LOL!  I love margaritas!!

Here is the card I created:
I used the super fun Cheers! stamp set for the yummy drink, which I colored with my Copics, as well as paper pieced the umbrella!  I used my Cameo to die-cut the 21 from my white cardstock!  My little sister turns 21 next month, so hard to believe!!

I added the large 'Happy' from the Happy Everything stamp set in Holly Berry Red Ink!  I die cut the banner from the Cool Tags Two Patterns Die Set and stamped the 'birthday', also from the  Happy Everything stamp set in Black Olive Ink!

I finished off my card by adding some Crystal Clear and Sparkle Gumdrops!!

Deepest Sympathy

Hello Stamping Friends!

I always dread making Sympathy cards! Always!  Recently my best friend's dad passed away, so I unfortunately needed to create one.

I have to admit, this was probably the most enjoyable Sympathy card I have ever created, simply because I got to work with some amazing new dies from Frantic Stamper to create it!!

I am absolutely in love with the beautiful design of this card:
I used the new Lovely Arched Loop Edger and Lattice Insert to create the beautiful bottom of the card!  It adds such a elegant feel to the card!  I just love it!!

I also used the new Assorted Foliage to add the leaves behind the pretty flowers!
I added pearls to the die cut edger to add some more elegance!

I also used the previously released Deepest Sympathy die for my sentiment!

Have a lovely day!

---------

First up I am showcasing the lovely new Cup of Cheer stamp set!
I'm not a coffee drinker, but am a sucker for Hot Cocoa!!  So I was so super excited to see this new stamp set!!!  My kids are just like me and love hot cocoa, so when I was creating this card my son even got a little chuckle from the set!

I stamped the mug a few times, so I could paper piece it!  Here is a close-up:
Isn't it adorable?!  I just love all the fun layers!!  I used the coordinating Mug Die to die cut the whipped topping, to add foam dots to, to also add some dimension to the mug!

I also featured a lovely new piece of paper!   I absolutely love the blue and orange plaid design!  It's on the back of the Joyful Bloom paper!  I also used a piece of Bright Pumpkin paper!!

---

There aren't too many wines that I really like, but I have a select few that I absolutely love!  And occasionally love to have when I craft or sit around with the family around the fireplace playing games!  And LOVE to have with girlfriends or during family functions!

So I was beyond excited to see the new Totally Tracy Always Wine Time stamp set!  So for my first project, I decided to create a wine tag:
I just love the sentiment!  It's so very true!!

Close-up:
I used some Artzy Doodles paper to create this tag!!  I love the designs and absolutely LOVE that each piece has a strip along the bottom that can be used as well!

So fun!!

Thanks for stopping by!

This new release is just so amazing, it was so hard to choose what products to work with as I love them all!!

When I seen the beautiful new Heart Rose Die from FS, I thought it would create the perfect elegant Wedding Card!  And since I normally don't have too many Wedding cards made ahead, I thought I would run with the idea!
I ended up using it to create a shaker card!!

What a beautiful die!!  I love roses so I was drawn to this die instantly!
The "mr & mrs" sentiment are from the Mr. & Mrs. stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy!

Glittery Love

Hello Stamping Friends!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I am so in love with the new Love Sentiment Die and Love Sentiments Stamp Set from the last release, which I know I have said before!  The love gets me, I just love how Joanna designed it to have the head and end of an arrow incorporated to the front and end of the sentiment!  Brilliant!

It got me thinking, that it would be fun to die cut a bunch of the "love" sentiments to create a background with them, so I gathered a few supplies:
I ended up die cutting a total of 7 love sentiments from white sticker paper!  That way I would have to mess around with glue!

I also decided the I wanted one of the love sentiments to really stand out and sparkle, like I did on a previous card this month with the die!  So I added some adhesive tape to the front and back of a piece of red cardstock!  I peeled off the top peeling from the tape to reveal my die cut and added some beautiful red glitter to it!!
 I just love GLITTER!!

I placed the die cut love sentiments at a slight angel and made it so that each arrow head leads into the next die cut sentiment.  As if they were shooting into each other!  Continuous love!
I placed the glittery love sentiment in place of one of the white ones so it could be featured nicely and decided to add the stamped "YOU" from the Love Sentiments Stamp Set so that the arrow lead right to it!

I really like the fun design!
I finished off my card by adding some of the red sequins from the Valentine's Day Sequins!  I love this mixture of sequins!!

Have a lovely day filled with all kinds of love!

YNS Designer Showcase

Hello Stamping Friends!

Over the next three days on the Your Next Stamp Blog we are showcasing the revamped Smiley Happy Critter Crew stamp sets!!

I love these adorable sets!!  They each are filled with so much happiness!!

I was able to work with the Smiley Happy Critter Crew Set One!!

I'm in love with each one of the critters in this set!  But was excited to use the ladybug first!  We call my sweet little girl doodlebug and she likes ladybugs!  So I thought it would be to create a card for her!  I love to occasionally leave a card in her room to find or put them in her lunch!
Isn't it sweet?!  I thought it would be fun to go with a black and white polka dot background!  I really wanted the ladybug to jump off the card!

So sweet!
I also used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to die cut the pattern paper and to cut the tiny rectangle for my sentiment to be stamped on!  The "SMILES FOR YOU" sentiment is also from the adorable Smiley Happy Critter Crew Set One stamp set, in which I inked up with the Black Olive Ink from YNS!

I finished off the card by adding some red gumdrops, which are part of the Candy Land Glittered Gumdrops set!

These critters are so much fun!  Sure to put a smile on anyone's face!!

Be sure to check out the other DT projects on the YNS Blog!  As well as checking back the next two days to see the other two adorable sets and inspiration from the DT!!

Pretty Heart with D2BA

Hello Stamping Friends!!

I'm on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog today!!

My card today goes along with our monthly challenge "All You Need Is Love"!  Originally we were going to just have a "Heart" challenge, but there aren't too many D2BA heart stamps, so we wanted to open up the challenge a little more for the designers and followers, so everyone could be as creative as possible and not feel limited to just hearts.

But I am here today to share a little fun idea with you in cases where you would want a heart stamp but don't have one!

Why not create your own looking heart stamp!

So I started by collecting some supplies!
I cut my card base, along with a few layers.I then took a piece of thin printer paper and ran it through my Big Shot, along with a heart die!  I decided to create a heart template!  The start to creating my own heart stamp!!

I then placed my template I just created on my white cardstock layer and added painters tape around the edges to hold the two pieces of paper in place!

Now it's time to have some fun!  Be as creative as you wish!!

For my card today I decided to feature the Love Stackable stamp set!  I decided I wanted the "LOVE" from the "All you need is Love" sentiment to by my main focus! So I used a piece of post-it note to mask part of the sentiment!  Then stamped the "Love" in Pomegranate Ink to my heart!

I decided to keep the sentiment straight, but it would look great at an angle as well!  Continue with any other sentiments you would like!  The remaining sentiments I stamped, I decided to just stamp with TotallyBlack Ink!

Before I took of my template, I decided to use a light pink distress ink around the heart edges, to make it pop off my card layer more!
I think it looks so cool!! The possibilities are endless!

Here is my finished card:
I left it nice and simple!

I decided to quickly have a little fun with another heart template, but this time using the Happiness Blooms stamp set! Check it out:
How cool is that heart?!  I love it!!

So much fun!!
