Today I am once again featuring the lovely NEW Star Pillow Box Die:

This time I decided to create an opening in the pillow box so you could see the candies inside!!  YUMMY!!

I also used the NEW Merry Christmas Die, which I cut up a little in order to just use the 'Christmas' part.  As I didn't want the whole die cut to cover my window.  So I decided to stamp a 'Merry' sentiment instead, to place above the die cut 'Christmas'!

For today's project I decided to create a cute little Pillow Box Package:

The package itself was bought pre-made.  I bought a mixture of colors.

The die cut pumpkin is from the new Halloween Fun stamp/die set.  The add leaves are from the Cute Pumpkin Tag Die!

The 'Just For You.' sentiment is from the Witchie Witchie stamp set, which I stamped on a die cut banner from the Ribbon End Dies!

So cute!!

YNS: Layer It Up

It's DT Dare day at Your Next Stamp!!

DT Dare is....
Layer It Up

I absolutely love the new Spring Treats stamp set and decided it would be fun to use it for today's DT Dare!!  I also used the coordinating Spring Treats Die Set!  And being that the name of the set is 'Spring Treats' I decided to create this fun layered Pillow Box treat package:

I used the fun Pillow Box Die set!  And being that the dare theme is 'Layer it Up' I used most of the layers in the die set!!  I also added a banner in which I then masked and only stamped the 'Easter Treats' portion of the sentiment from the Spring Treats stamp set.

I stamped a few of the cute little peep like bunnies and colored them with my colored pencils! I then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!  I thought they would look cute layers about the sentiment on the package!!

The fun paper I used is from the Happy Spring 6x6 Paper Pad!!

YNS 2016 in Review Blog Hop

Welcome to YNS's December Year in Review Hop!!!

What an amazing year it has been at YNS!

So many awesome new stamp sets!
Dies!

And the introduction of PAPER and INK!!!

I have been so thankful to be able to work with a bunch of the different products!!

For today's project, we were to use some of our favorite stamps and/or dies released this year!

For the record, this was extremely hard for me!

WHY?!

Well I LOVE everything YNS!  

I had no clue what to use as I have loved everything released this year, I have way too many favorites!!

I actually started a few projects as I wasn't sure what I really wanted to make!

Then looking again through all my supplies I ended up deciding to create this cute little package:

A good friend of mine is having a Birthday right after Christmas and she wanted cute necklaces for work, so I decided to created this cute little package to put the necklace I got her in!  The Pillow Box Die was not new this year, but I absolutely LOVE using it!!  It is so great to use for Gift Cards as well!!

I used the Happy Everything stamp set, which was released this year!  I love this stamp set!  I've used it a lot!  I really like the large fancy font used for the "Happy"!!  Which I stamped in Black Olive Premium Die Ink Pad!!  So excited YNS released their own line of lovely ink colors this year!!

There are 11 other tiny sentiments in the Happy Everything stamp set as well, in this case I used the "birthday"!  So many uses in this one stamp set makes it a perfect set to own!!

I also used an older stamp set, Spring Birds, to add the sweet flowers to two of the corners.

I also used the new Flower Cube Die Set to die cut the three cute flowers to add to my package!  And as I say a lot, as I am obsessed with them, I finished off my package by adding some Give Thanks to Sparkle Gumdrops to the centers of my flowers!!  A nice touch!!

Birthday Pillow Box

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I have a fun package to share with you today using some awesome products from The Stamps of Life!!

I love how it turned out!!
I used the layers that come in the set to create a shaker window on the pillow box!!

Perfect to add a little gift in or fun packaging to add a gift card in!!

11th Day of Gift Giving with YNS

 Time once again for some fun with Your Next Stamp products!!!

We've done a series on "12 Days of Gift Giving"!

There has been some really amazing ideas shared!

With that being said.......It's my turn!

I am featuring the Pillow Box Die!
I really enjoy using dies like this to create sweet little gifts.

I started out by die cutting the box:

When I cut my pillow box I just grabbed a piece of cardstock I liked, not realizing at the time, it was a perfect fit for my idea, as you will see later! 

I then used the die cut layer for the top of the box:

I adhered the two pieces together.

Here is where I thought for a little bit.
As I wanted to alter this idea, to change up the die a little bit, to show you more uses.

So I decided to use the Stitched Rectangle Die Set, to create an opening in my Pillow Box, so you could see what was inside.

The rectangles in the Pillow Box Die weren't the size I was looking for, so in searching I found the right size in the Stitched Rectangle Die Set!!

So I die cut the rectangle from my layers:

I then added a piece of acetate on the inside of the box to create a window:

How fun!!

I originally had planned to fill this pillow box with candy, so here is a look with it filled up:

It's now ready to be embellished!!

But in thinking, I decided it would create a perfect gift card holder as well!  I love creating my own gift card holders, as I don't care for the boring ones in the store!

So here's a look at my finished pillow box:

I love the scene you kind of created as well!  The pillow box kind of acts as a frame!

The "Season's Greeting" sentiment is part of the Freezy the Snowman stamp set!

As I mentioned earlier, I used a piece of double sided paper...

When you slide the gift card out, you can see the other side of the paper inside!  So the inside of my box is decorated as well!!

It's those small things that I get a kick out of!!

September DT Dare at Your Next Stamp

Super fun dare!  It is so much fun to create things other then cards occasionally!
I just love creating 3D gift projects!!

So I created a Pillow Box using the fun Pillow Box Die from YNS!!

Isn't it cute?!
I really like the patterned paper!!

The Halloween Pumpkins set is so much fun to use!!

Using the Halloween Pumpkins Die Set makes die cutting the pumpkins and leaves so easy!!  (I love not having to fussy cut!!)

I finished it off, by adding some Spellbound Gumdrops to the upper left corner!
