Glittery Love

Hello Stamping Friends!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I am so in love with the new Love Sentiment Die and Love Sentiments Stamp Set from the last release, which I know I have said before!  The love gets me, I just love how Joanna designed it to have the head and end of an arrow incorporated to the front and end of the sentiment!  Brilliant!

It got me thinking, that it would be fun to die cut a bunch of the "love" sentiments to create a background with them, so I gathered a few supplies:
I ended up die cutting a total of 7 love sentiments from white sticker paper!  That way I would have to mess around with glue!

I also decided the I wanted one of the love sentiments to really stand out and sparkle, like I did on a previous card this month with the die!  So I added some adhesive tape to the front and back of a piece of red cardstock!  I peeled off the top peeling from the tape to reveal my die cut and added some beautiful red glitter to it!!
 I just love GLITTER!!

I placed the die cut love sentiments at a slight angel and made it so that each arrow head leads into the next die cut sentiment.  As if they were shooting into each other!  Continuous love!
I placed the glittery love sentiment in place of one of the white ones so it could be featured nicely and decided to add the stamped "YOU" from the Love Sentiments Stamp Set so that the arrow lead right to it!

I really like the fun design!
I finished off my card by adding some of the red sequins from the Valentine's Day Sequins!  I love this mixture of sequins!!

First Lost Tooth with HBS

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I have a project life page to share with you today!!

I was excited for the new Hand Lettered Numeric stamp set!  I instantly thought of the pictures of when my daughter lost her first tooth!!
So I used the set to stamp the 1st!

And then used Hand Lettered Alpha to create the "LOST tooth" sentiment and add the arrows!!

I used the Camera Love stamp set to stamp the "captured" sentiment on the pink tag to the image of my daughter with the "tooth fairy" looking over her!! As well as the hearts on each side of the sentiment!

Here is a close up of the title card:
I based my colors off of the sequins colors!  I really like the pink and gold together!!!

On the opposite site I kept things pretty simple and just have pictures, along with her "glittery" dolor from the fairy!
I really like how this project life page turned out!!

"Bee" sure to check out all the lovely products Honey Bee Stamps has to offer!
Happy Stamping!!

YNS Challenge #34

Hello Stamping Friends!

Here's some inspiration for you:

Here is a card sketch....

and photo/colors to find inspiration from....

-----------------

For my card today, I decided to focus on the card sketch, although the colors are pretty cool as well!

My personality when I created this card kept going for bright yellows and oranges!!

See this is the card I created:
I starter by creating the shaker portion of my card.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set  to die cut the rectangle shaker part.  I then stamped the Star Ink Splatter in a combination of yellow and orange ink.

I then thought it would be fun to use the star dies from the Blast Off Die Set  to add the windows where the sequins can be seen!
The "It's Your day..." and "Have a Fun day" are part of the Wheelie Fun stamp set!!

I die cut the rectangles I used for the "It's Your day..." layers from the Pillow Box Die set!!
I used the Mini Star Ink Splatter stamp to create the tiny stars in the bottom two corners.  Thought it brought the card together really well!!

I finished my card off by adding some Yellow Solid Divine Twine and Give Thanks To Sparkle Gumdrops!!
