YNS Challenge 81

I found inspiration in the sketch for my card today:

I absolutely LOVE the Happy Dance stamp set!!  You can't help but smile when you see this adorable Lizard!!   I want to do the Happy Dance with him!!

I stamped the Star Ink Splatter in Sunflower Yellow Ink a few times on my white card base!  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to die cut the rectangle that I then stamped the lizard on and colored with Copics!

I adhered the rectangle to my card base using an Action Wobble!!  So he actually does the HAPPY DANCE!! 

I added the two sentiments, which are part of the Happy Dance stamp set!!  And finished off the card by adding some Gumdrops!!

YNS Be Merry DT Dare

It's DT Dare day at Your Next Stamp!!

What a fun theme!!  With that in mind I decided to grab the new Be Jolly stamp set!!  My son and I absolutely LOVE the adorable deer in the set!  When he seen it he let out a sweet belly laugh!!

The holidays make me wanna be merry and dance!!  I could do the happy dance non-stop when decorating the house!!  I just love the spirit Christmas brings!!  So when I seen the 'Holiday Happy Dance' sentiment in the Be Jolly stamp set as well, I was super excited about this set!!

I also used the coordinating Be Jolly Die Set, so that I could die cut around my reindeer, as I thought it would be super fun to put him on an Action Wobble!! 

So he can dance!!!  I love it!!

Behind him I stamped the Star Ink Splatter with Sunflower Yellow Ink!

Such a fun card!!

For today's card I was inspired by the sketch and a few of the colors to create a Graduation card for my sister!!

In decided to turn the sketch on the side.

So I started by stamping the Stripe-tastic Edge stamp on a piece of white cardstock.  I then stamped the Star Ink Splatter twice, once on each end!

I then stamped the sentiment from the Congrads! stamp set!  As well as adding the graduation cap!

I then stamped the Star Ink Splatter in the top left corner in a light yellow and then added the open stars from the Magical Unicorn stamp set in a darker yellow!  I really like the ink splatter combined with the open stars!!!

My sisters's college colors are red and blue!!

I then stamped the Star Ink Splatter on the die cut later a few times.

The Birthday sentiment is from the Wheelie Fun stamp set!

Teacher Appreciation Week with YNS

At Your Next Stamp we are celebrating Teacher Appreciate Week!!

Be sure to check out the YNS Blog this entire week for wonderful teacher themed gift ideas!!

I've had this super fun pencil .svg for awhile now, but hadn't used it yet!  So I thought my project for today was very fitting to finally use it!!!

I started by die cutting all my layers.  Before assembling I first used the Dots and Hearts stamp set to stamp the polka dots and hearts on the yellow cardstock!  Gives the pencil a nice design!!

I then added some Yellow Solid Divine Twine around the pencil, so I could add this .svg tag I cut out on my Silhouette. 

I stamped the fun "you are Amazing!" sentiment from the Whatnot Sentiments Set Six stamp set!  A very fitting sentiment for a teacher, I think!!

I finished up the tag by using the Mini Star Ink Splatter to add the stars on the tag!

I love how this package turned out!!  Great for adding a few treats to!

For my card today, I decided to focus on the card sketch, although the colors are pretty cool as well!

My personality when I created this card kept going for bright yellows and oranges!!

See this is the card I created:

I starter by creating the shaker portion of my card.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set  to die cut the rectangle shaker part.  I then stamped the Star Ink Splatter in a combination of yellow and orange ink.

I then thought it would be fun to use the star dies from the Blast Off Die Set  to add the windows where the sequins can be seen! 

The "It's Your day..." and "Have a Fun day" are part of the Wheelie Fun stamp set!!

I die cut the rectangles I used for the "It's Your day..." layers from the Pillow Box Die set!!

I used the Mini Star Ink Splatter stamp to create the tiny stars in the bottom two corners.  Thought it brought the card together really well!!

I finished my card off by adding some Yellow Solid Divine Twine and Give Thanks To Sparkle Gumdrops!!

Here is the super fun card I created:

I just LOVE how it turned out!!!

I started off by stamping the Star Ink Splatter!  I love this stamp, perfect for so many different projects!!

I then stamped the "Celebrate" sentiment from the Whatnot Sentiments Set Six! As well as the "It's Your Birthday! sentiment from the Keep On Trucking stamp set!

I used the Stitched Oval Die Set, to create a flap on the front of my card, so I could create a spot for a gift card!!

I finished off by adding one gumdrop from the Love Earth Gumdrops set!

I was so excited about this card when I finished!!

YNS December Release

 It's release day at Your Next Stamp!!!

I just love release day!

HAPPY DANCE!!

So MANY great new stamp sets and dies being released today!!!

First up, I am featuring the new Blast Off and Star Splatter stamp sets:

The Blast Off stamp set is such a great set for little boy cards!! 

I am so excited to see the release of the Star Splatter stamp, which was perfect to create a background for this rocket!!  But will be fun for other birthday cards and graduation cards!!

I used the Stripe-tastic Circle Die to make it look like the rocket was shooting past the moon.  And the die makes a fun shaker card!

Fun part is that I added an action wobble to it, so the rocket shakes!!

 Fun!!

Next up I used the Snow Much Joy stamp set!  I am soooo very much in love with the snowman in this set!

 Isn't the snowman sweet?!  I sure think so!!

There is another sweet image as well, some snowflakes and some fun sentiments!!

I currently have been in love with creating with this color palette.  I love the background I created, I used some of my favorite distress inks, snowflake stencil and the snowflakes from the Snow Much Joy stamp set!

Love it!!

Lastly, I am sharing a sweet little package I created using some new dies!

I love creating packages!!  So I was super excited to get the new Treat Bag die!!

I also added a sweet paper bow, created using the new Bow-tiful Little Bows!

The stamped snowflakes are from the Snow Much Joy stamp set!

I also added some Holly Jolly Sparkly Gumdrops!!

Perfect for some candies!!
