Here's some inspiration for you:

Here is a card sketch....

and photo/colors to find inspiration from....

For today's card I was inspired by the sketch and a few of the colors to create a Graduation card for my sister!!

In decided to turn the sketch on the side.

So I started by stamping the Stripe-tastic Edge stamp on a piece of white cardstock.  I then stamped the Star Ink Splatter twice, once on each end!

I then stamped the sentiment from the Congrads! stamp set!  As well as adding the graduation cap!

I then stamped the Star Ink Splatter in the top left corner in a light yellow and then added the open stars from the Magical Unicorn stamp set in a darker yellow!  I really like the ink splatter combined with the open stars!!!

My sisters's college colors are red and blue!!

YNS March DT Dare

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's DT Dare day at Your Next Stamp!!

DT Dare is....
Celebrate Women

March 8th was International Women's Day!!

We were to create projects featuring femininity and our strength!


I thought it would be super fun to use the new Cute Alpha Squares stamp set to create the "BEAUTIFUL" sentiment!!  I used the Cute Alpha Squares Die Set to first cut all the tiny squares and then stamped the letters!!

And added the "you are" which is part of a sentiment in the Magical Unicorn stamp set.

Before I placed the "Beautiful" sentiment, I first used the Small Pee-a-Boo Trio Die Set, to die cut the square trio three times, to create the shaker opening for this card.  I then adhered the "Beautiful" sentiment.

I finished up, by adding a button and Yellow Solid Divine Twine!!

YNS March Release Day

Hello Stamping Friends!

 It's release day at Your Next Stamp!!!
I just love release day!

So MANY great new stamp sets and dies being released today!!!

First up...I am featuring the new Little Darling Fairy Godmother set!!
I just love this adorable set!!
(The set includes two adorable images and four sentiments!!)

I used the beautiful princess from the set:

I also used the fun "Sparkle and Shine It's Your Special Day" sentiment from the set!

I masked the sentiment, as I wanted to use a sparkly ink for the "Sparkle and Shine" portion of the stamp.

It's slightly hard to tell, but if you look closely, I used a glitter pen to add glitter to her sleeves and bow on her dress!!  It looks so pretty in real life!!

Now for my next card:

Isn't it fun?!

I just love the new unicorn image!!

The set is called Magical Unicorn!!

I sponged a yellow background behind the unicorn and then stamped some of the stars from the set randomly!

I had so much fun coloring this image!!

I finished up the card by adding some Winter White Glittered Gumdrops!!  The perfect added glitter!!
