Sneak Peek

Good morning stampers!!

It's the second Thursday of the month, so that means over at Inspired By Stamping we are starting our Sneak Peek's until release day on Saturday of a new fun set!! Joanna has once again created another wonderful set!

This is our first month as a team showcasing the new stamp set, so it's pretty exciting! I just love this new stamp set!  It's called The Sky's the Limit!

I decided for my first sneak peek, I would use the stamps to create a flower! Something different!
I created this card yesterday, I just love how it turned out!!  You can't really tell what the orginal stamp is from the set!! hehe  But I'm sure you'll be able to guess what they are from my fellow DT member blogs.

I just love the font of the sentiments in this set!

Christmas Bling with Sweet Stamps

Sweet Stamps Challenge:

Christmas Bling

Make sure to join us on the Sweet Stamps blog, we'd love to see what you create. You have a chance at winning $20 to purchase some "sweet" things of your own!! There's plenty of wonderful things to choose from!

Here's the card I created:
I created a fun gate-fold card for this challenge.  For the front sentiment I used "Look Like Christmas", which has to be one of my favorite holiday sentiments!  I guess I just love decorating for Christmas and love all the lights!  It is kind of hard to tell and I couldn't get the greatest picture, put the paper I used the sentiment on was first stamped with some VersaMark using the "Tiny Snowflake Background".  The tree on the front is a fun die! It's by Nellie's Multi Frame's and is called "Christmas Tree Multi Frame Dies'.  You get two trees, an ornament and star dies.

I really like it because I love being able to BLING it up!  I used some Silver rhinestones on the tree to act as ornaments or lights.  The red garland is actually white thread that I covered with Creative Inspiration Paints "Rustic Red" to make red and to add shimmer to.  I used CI Paint "Gold" on the star on top of the tree.

I used "Merry Christmas Script" for the inside sentiment. And also stamped the outlined ornament from the "Ornament Silhouette and Outline Duo" set.

I then used CI Paints "Rustic Red" and "Silver Frost" to add shimmer to the ornament!
Lastly, I finished off the card, by adding "Lippy Red" and "Mint Green" rhinestones!

Have a wonderful day!

Skipping Stones Design

I'm so excited!  I am guest designing for Skipping Stones Design this month!  I was able to choose 3 of my favorite stamp sets to work with!  Let me just say, I am having a blast!  Plus I am just excited, as this is the first time I am being a Guest Designer!

Today I am being introduced on their website and then I will be creating a card with a sketch from them each Tuesday!

I decided to create a center step card to begin with!  I used stamp sets Always Here and Timeless Textures.

Side view of the card:
I just love how it turned out!!

A view of one of the side panels:
I just love the butterfly along with the background stamp I used.

Have a nice day!

Cute Snowman

Good morning!!  I have a fun card to share with you this morning using a Unity Stamp I picked up at the last stamp expo I went to.  I told myself I wasn't going to buy any more winter stamps this year, but I fell for this adorable snowman!!

I started by choosing my papers I wanted to use for this card and then colored in the image.  I just love these colors together! Such a fun holiday card!

Close-up:

Close-up of the adorable snowman!!
I used CI Paint Turquoise on the his scarf and hat and on the teal paper around the image.  I used Winter Frost for the snow!

I wanted to share something fun I have enjoyed doing lately....

Creating my own stick pins!  It's soooo easy!  And a lot of fun to add CI Paints to them so they shimmer!!

First, I start by using a punch or die cutting machine to cut out how many shapes I need, in this case I used a snowflake punch to punch out 4 snowflakes.

I then used Green Olive CI Paint to add shimmer to the paper.

Quickly add hot glue from your glue gun, put a pin in it, then quickly press the other snowflake on top!

So fun, quick and easy!!

Put a pop-dot where you would like them to stick out...

 And look at that...
How FUN!!  So shimmery!  I also used some CI Clear Jewels!

Now you can make stick pins to match your project perfectly!  As sometimes I have a hard time finding the exact ones I want.

Have a nice day!

Ornaments

I have found this year I have been addicted to ornament stamps as well as the snowman and snowflakes!

This card was created using Stampin' Up products.
 So simple, yet so elegant.

This one was created using Hero Art products.
I created this one when I was at the Mall of American in September with my girlfriends!  We had some fun classes this year.

Tomorrow my cousin is getting married in Hawaii, so excited!!

Have a nice day!
