Snowflakes

Good morning!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!  We sure had a lot of fun with the kids!  They both were so excited!

This is my post for today on the Creative Inspirations Paints Blog.

I have one more holiday card to share with you for this year, which actually is my first card I have created to send out next year!  Yay...for starting my Christmas cards for 2011 already!!  Hopefully I will get them all done way before the holidays next year!

I used CI Paints "Denium" to coat the background die cut. I then used white embossing powder to emboss white snowflakes on top of the paint. I also dipped my paint brush in "Ivory" and flicked my brush to add some specks of paint to the background. (And yes I made a mess by doing this!!)
Here's a close-up:

Just look at all the shimmer! I used the paints to cover the felt snowflakes. "Sky Blue" was used on the large one and "Fairy Dust" on the smaller one. The brad in the center was originally white, but I dipped it in the cap of "Ivory", so that it would match my project! I just love these paints!!

The Let It Snow tag I used a cotton ball to add "Ivory" to it.

Just a friendly reminder to order your LIMITED EDITION Paints before it's too late! They'll be available till the end of this week.

Have a great week!

Kendra
