Celebrate Slimline

Hello Sweet Crafty Friends!

I have a masculine slimline card to share today using Lisa Horton Crafts products!

I used the stitched layer from the Scalloped Slimline Dies set on this card for my white layer:
I then stamped the fun circle image from the In The Loop stamp set twice to fill up the left side of my slimline layer.  I then stamped some of the circular outline images.

I also used the circle stencil from the Aperture Stencils - Circles and Rectangles set to added the colored circles!!

So simple and fun!!

I used the Frame a Word Die Set to die cut the 'Celebrate' sentiment.

Have a lovely day!

Love Home Decor

Hello Sweet Crafty Friends!

I have a fun project to share today using Lisa Horton Crafts products!

I used a MDF Tag from LHC to create this fun piece of home decor:
I haven't created a piece of home decor in awhile, but am pretty happy with how this turned out!!

I added some pattern paper to the Greyboard Hearts and stamp 'Love' from the In The Loop stamp set to the tiny polka dot heart.
Before adding the Pink Sisal and hearts I used the Hive Stencil to add the fun glitter texture paste to the tag.

I've never used Sisal before, I love it!!  Adds such a nice touch!!

Not sure yet if I'm going to keep this for myself or give it to my Mom for Valentine's Day!!

Have a lovely day!

Butterfly Birthday

Hello Sweet Crafty Friends!

I have a fun  card to share today using Lisa Horton Crafts products!

I absolutely LOVE the new In the Loop and Butterfly Flourish stamp sets from Lisa!!
I used a piece of pattern paper from the Capri paper pad!  I just love these gorgeous papers!!!

The large circle cluster was then stamped on the left side of my card base from the In the Loop stamp set.

The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is also from the In the Loop stamp set and was stamped on another piece of pattern paper from the Capri paper pad!

I stamped the small and medium butterflies from Butterfly Flourish stamp set on different pieces of Capri paper as well.  I then fussy cut them out and added to my card base!

I finished the card off by adding some random gems!

Butterfly Hello

Hello Sweet Crafty Friends!

I am so excited to share my first project with you today using Lisa Horton Crafts products!

Tomorrow is the day!! Lisa will be on Create & Craft TV at 1pm UTC sharing her new products!!  They are sooooo amazing!!

I'm a huge sucker for butterflies, so I am very excited about the new EDGEcuts Collection Butterfly Flourish!!

I used the largest butterfly shawox from the set to die cut the window for this shaker card:
I then used the middle sized butterfly die to die cut from a piece of vellum.  I added to the center of the die cut shadow.  I really love the look!!

I added some new pearls to the butterfly!!
I used the new Mermaid Tails: Lilac Set for the lovely glitter inside my shaker card!  I love the new Mermaid Tails!!!  Yummy!!

The designer paper used is from the new Capri paper set!

The stamped 'Hello' is part of thew new In The Loop stamp set!
Along with all the fun new products, I am also super excited about some fun new stencils coming soon!!!

I was going to get out some paste and created a fun background, but decided I wanted to keep it elegant and not take away from the butterfly, so I thought it would be fun to use the stencil to emboss my paper. These stencils are so thick and create an embossed background so beautifully!!

Here is a look at how to use the stencils to create an embossed background:

I used a Big Shot, so this may slightly be different between machines, I'm not sure.  But don't be afraid to experiment and have fun!!  That is exactly what I did!

Open the main plate to TAB 1 and place in your Big Shot, add a cutting pad, your stencil and then paper:

Then add your crease pad and another cutting pad:
Run it through your Big Shot!
Use those muscles!!

So easy and fun!!!

*Note I've learned from another crafter that if you lightly spritz the cardstock with water before running your sandwich through the Big Shot creates deeper embossing.  I did not do this with this piece, as I mentioned before these new stencils are made with really nice thick material and I didn't think I would need to spritz the cardstock.

Here is a look at the cardstock:
How fun is that?!

So nice to have multiple uses for your supplies!  This new stencil I used is called Pennies in a Line!!

Have a lovely day!
Be sure to tune into Create & Craft TV tomorrow for a look at all the NEW products!!!
