Elegant Christmas

Hello Sweet Crafty Friends!

I have an elegant card to share today using Lisa Horton Crafts products!

I absolutely love how this card turned out:

I used the lovely Sketchy Poinsettia Stamp Set (LCHCS056) to stamp on vellum paper and then embossed with white embossing powder, twice!  So I could cut part of the poinsettia to layer and give some dimension!  Gives such a elegant look!!

I used the awesome Slimline Festive Checked Frame Die (LHCCD090) for my card layers!  I just love this die set!

What a fun new holiday stamp set!!

Here is the pretty card I created:

I love the elegant feel to this card!

I also used the new Pretty Gift Card Holder Die set for the label, which I die cut from red cardstock and cut in half.  So I could place a portion underneath my green cardstock on the top and bottom.  I thought it added a nice touch!

I love the beautiful added poinsettia!

Hello Stamping Friends!!

I'm on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog today!!

Please, don't think I'm crazy, but I'm sharing a Christmas card!!!  I'm not sure why, but I actually did not get tired of making Christmas cards last year and have all kinds of ideas running through my head yet!

You can never have enough Christmas cards, so why not start already for this year!!

I used the fun newly released Holiday Magic stamp set!!

I stamped the poinsettia's with VeraMark ink and then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder!!   Love how elegant they look!!  I then used my watercolors to color them!!

I used a piece of Winter Plaid in the background, I absolutely LOVE this sheet of pattern paper!!

The lovely 'Wishing you Joy in every Merry Moment' sentiment is also from the Holiday Magic stamp set!!

I hope I've inspired you to start creating some holiday cards for this year!! :)

For my project I used my Cameo to cut out this fun Hanger Treat Envelope I found here as a free download!

I used a piece of Winter Plaid and Red Sweater for my layers on my package!!

I used the gorgeous Poinsettia Tangle stamp set for my poinsettia image!!  I absolutely LOVE this stamp set!!  All the detail is just so amazing!!  I decided to stamp the poinsettia on vellum and emboss with white embossing powder!!

I also used the new coordinating Poinsettia Die!!  I love not having to fussy cute the image!!  Plus the set includes a die to cut out part of the middle section, so you can layer the poinsettia like I did!!  Makes it so fun and simple!  LOVE it!!

For my sentiment, I used the new Merry Christmas Layer Die!

I love this die set!  So many fun options!!  

I ended up putting some yummy Andes candies in my package, but a gift card would be an awesome idea as well!  Or candy and a gift card!!

Perfect for the Holidays!!

Elegant Poinsettia

Have you been able to check out the September Die Release from Frantic Stamper??!!

It has me dreaming of Christmas!!

I am so excited I have been able to get a big jump start on my holiday cards with the newest release!!

One of my absolute favorite new dies is the Poinsettia Stained-Glass Square (10313)!! 

I love how this holiday card turned out!!

One of my favorite things about the holidays is all the sparkle!!  So I  used some glitter silver paper for my stained glass outline!!

So beautiful!!

I'm so excited, the holidays are right around the corner!!  The spirit has hit me the last few days!!

For my hop project, I decided to focus on creating a 3D Gift Box for a special gift for my mom!  She's been through a lot these last few weeks!

I purchased two birthstone charms (my kids birth months) for her charm bracelet she recently got, as well as a rhinestone heart charm!  I thought it would be super special to create a special box to present them to her in!

So I started by finding a cute .svg box file I really liked!  I cut it out on my Cameo two times!  This box actually cuts out as one piece!  I wanted to cut one layer up so that I could use two different pieces of pattern paper!

I used a piece of lovely Holly Days Paper  (top) and a piece of Red Sweater Paper (bottom)! 

 I absolutely LOVE how this box turned out!!    

I really like the Poinsettia Tangle stamp set!!  It is an absolutely gorgeous stamp set!  It's been one of my most go to wintery sets this holiday season!

 The Christmas sentiment from the set is so beautiful!!  What a lovely sentiment!  There are an additional three lovely sentiments in the set as well!!

Here is a close-up of my Poinsettia:

Isn't it beautiful?!?!  I love how it turned out!!  I stamped the image two times on Vellum with VersaMark ink and embossed with a lovely Pearl Embossing Powder!!  

I then fussy cut one the around the entire image and the second I fussy cut only a few of the petals, so that I could use a pop-dot between the two and make it look more 3-dimensional!! 

I think my mom will really like this package!!

Unique Shaped Card with IBS

Good Morning Stamping Friends!!

I am on the Inspired By Stamping blog today!

Today we are featuring Unique Shaped Christmas Cards!

I just love creating shaped cards!

With this in mind, I decided to visit  my Bigger Die Cut Tutorial again! 

I once again used  the largest die from the Fancy Labels 1 Die set!!

I created this shaped card with it:

Similar to the other, but a little smaller.

The Season's Greeting sentiment is part of the Holiday Sentiments set.

I love the Poinsettias stamp set!

The Poinsettia is so beautiful embossed  in white on vellum!!

Isn't it beautiful?!

I am SUPER excited!
As you may have seen Monday, it is release week at Inspired By Stamping!!
I always love releases from IBS!!

Today I am showcasing the new Poinsettias set!
Can you say....LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!!

What a beautiful set!

I am in love with this set!  I love poinsettias!

This set is both fun to color the image and fun to leave uncolored, as I did for my card today. 

Here's the card I created:

I decided to use the Poinsettias Cut File to cut out two poinsettias on vellum and then stamp the image and embossed with white embossing powder.

I just love the beautiful elegant look!

I then cut one of the images down, so that I could create the layered poinsettia look.  Gives it a little more depth and interest.

The Merry Christmas sentiment, is preview of a new set releasing tomorrow called Big Holidays!!
