I was inspired by my son for this card!  He LOVES baseball!!  He's been the varsity catcher since his sophomore year!  He turns 17 in July!

So interpreted this challenge as the baseball field being home!!  As lately it seems like I spend more time there then I do at home!  LOL

We are at the field 3 nights a week for games as well as on the weekends.  And there for practice 2 other nights!!

I love the Grand Slam stamp set!!  So perfect for both my softball and baseball player!!  They both loved this card!!

So cute!!

Hoopy Birthday!

Hello Stamping Friends!

Today I have a card I created using stamps from the Crafty Doodle Chick shop!!

I am featuring the adorable Sports Fanatics One by Your Next Stamp!

I created this super fun boy birthday card:

I started by stamping the fun image twice, once on Copic Paper and then on a piece of pattern paper that resembles the look of a basketball!!

I colored the image in with my Copics, except for the ball.  I fussy cut the ball from the pattern piece of pattern paper and adhered to the main image!

I decided to create a shaker card with the image!

They are so much fun to create!!

I added the 'Hoopy Birthday' sentiment to my polaroid die cut, which is part of the Sports Fanatics One stamp set as well!!

Such a fun stamp set to create cards for those sport fanatics!!

Hello Stamping Friends!


I have a few project life pages to share with you using dies from Frantic Stamper!!

This first project life page is for my sons album:

I created the title using the awesome Brooklyn Alphabet die set!  I can't get enough of this awesome alphabet set!!  I love being able to create my own titles!!  And at a nice size too!!

The heart is part of the Brooklyn Numbers die set and the football is from the Sports Ball Icons! 

My son is obsessed with football!!

So fun!!  I really like how it turned out!!

This project life page is for my daughters album:

Again I used the Brooklyn Alphabet and Sports Ball Icons to create this card:

I captured some cute photos of my son and my Grandma, so his Great-Grandma doing 'the WAVE" so I have to make a fun title card with the photos:

I grabbed a tiny 'the' sentiment and stamped in brown ink and then again used the Brooklyn Alphabet to create the 'Wave' sentiment! 

 I also used the You're Number One die set to create the fun finger!

I had a ton of photos of my son as like I mentioned before he just can't get enough of his football, so I need to create one more tiny project life page for his album:

On this page I thought it would be fun to use the  Brooklyn Numbers to die cut the numbers of his two favorite players!!

I added the football from the Sports Ball Icons die set again to one of the cards and just added some wood stars I had to the other!

I'm so excited to add these fun pages to their albums!!

Here is the super fun card I created:

For this challenge I decided to use the sketch!

My son recently had a birthday party he attended for a friend of his that loves basketball!!  So I knew right away I wanted to use the fun new Sports Fanatics One stamp set!!

It was so cool, my son got in the car after the party and was all excited his friend loved the card!

Such a fun image and sentiment!!!

YNS February Release

I just love release day!

This release has some yummy sweet sets!

I am featuring the Celebrate Sweetness stamp set!

I just love the scale, bag and candies!!!

So many fun images packed in this set!!

I created this card to send to my kiddos this summer.  I occasionally send them cards to my parents cabin when I know we are going to be going there.  There is an awesome candy store that they love going to!  So I thought I'd added a few dollars into this card to go to the candy store and I think they'd get a big kick out of it!!

Such a fun set!!!

Next up, I have a sports related card:

I used the fun new Sports Fanatics One stamp set!

My son is obsessed with sports!  So this stamp set will be used a lot!

He especially loves FOOTBALL!!

So I thought I would create a fun card using the football image first!!

I LOVE the matching sentiment!

So perfect for any boy or even adult football enthusiast!

I also used the Mini Star Ink Splatter under the sentiment!!

And finished the card up with adding some of my own star accents and Love Earth Gumdrops!

The paper is so perfect for this card!!
