Embossing with Sweet Stamps

It's time for another Sweet Stamps Challenge!!

This week's challenge is Embossing.  Either heat or dry.

Make sure to join us on the Sweet Stamps blog, we'd love to see what you create. You have a chance at winning $20 to purchase some "sweet" things of your own!!   There's plenty of great stamps and other things to choose from!  Don't miss your chance at winning.

Here's my creation, in which I decided to do both heat and dry embossing:
I used the stamp set "Fancy Flowers Set #2" for this card, another fun stamp set from Sweet Stamps!  You can do some many different things with this set.  The "Smile" sentiment is also from Sweet Stamps.

I stamped each flower a few times with black pigment ink and then embossed them with black embossing powder.  I then cut them out and layered them.

I used Creative Inspirations Paint to add shimmer to pieces of them as well.  I just love the added shimmer.  I used Rose Quartz, Green Olive, Buttercup and Sky Blue.

I used two embossing folders from Sweet Stamps for some dry embossing, Spots and Daisy & Swirl.  I lightly used an ink pad on top of the Daisy & Swirl embossed paper to add color.

I finished the card off by using Dark Purple and Silver Rhinestones.

Make sure to check out all the other lovely creations from the other DT members!

Have a great day!

Kendra
