Aren't these owls sweet?!  I sure think so!  I love the one hanging off the branch!  I thought it would be fun to add a bow to her, which is from the Card Buddies stamp set!

I also used the awesome new Stitched Rectangle Frame Die set!!  I love these double stitched frames!!

Hope Your Day Is a Hoot

Hello Stamping Friends!


I have a fun card to share with you using dies from Frantic Stamper and a fun stamp set that I got from Crafty Doodle Chick!!

I used the adorable What A Hoot stamp set by Newton's nook Designs that I got from CDC!

I stamped the sweet owl and colored in with my Copics.  I then fussy cut around the image so that I could add it above my twine with pop dots!

I used the Semi Circle Elements from Frantic Stamper to create my shaker window!!

Such a sweet card!

Here's the cute card I created from the inspiration above:

I really like this image!  So cute!  The set I used is called Holiday Owl, in which I stamped in YNS's very own Black Olive Ink!!

I used the Pillow Box Die to create the two layers for my sentiment!  And finished off my card by adding some yummy Holly Jolly Sparkly Gumdrops!!

YNS December Preview Day

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's that time of the month at Your Next Stamp!!
I personally LOVE this time!!  It's one of those happy dance moments!!

It's Preview Day today!
Tomorrow is Release Day!!!!

I am in love with all the stamps and dies being released this month, I can hardly contain myself!! lol

I know I may sound like a broken record, but Karen, owner of YNS, really amazes me each month with her releases!!  I'm always in love!

Today I am featuring the new "Life's a Hoot" stamp set!

So when I got this stamp set, I was right away attracted to the "Hoot! Hoot! Hooray" sentiment along with the "It's Your Birthday!", so I thought it would be super fun to create a spinner card with it, as if the owl was flying around like crazy in celebration of someone's birthday!!

The spinner part of the card was created using the new Stitched Oval Dies!!

This set has a bunch of fun owl images and sentiments!!

Here is a view of the owl flying around!!

Hehe!  SO super fun!

I just love interactive cards like this!!

I finished up my card by adding a few Sparkly Mauve Gumdrops!!

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Hubby is gone with his dad fishing, so the kids and I have been out doing a lot of fun things!!  

Today is my day to post on the Joy's Life DT Blog!

This week we are featuring Friend Shaped Cards!

I decided to create an Owl Shaped card for one of my best friends, using the Punny Animals set!

I used the "from you know hoo" sentiment for the front....

and then in the inside I stamped "friends owlways"
