With the theme in mind, I thought it would be fun to create a Halloween themed card:

I used the Circles Die Set to create my circle mask and then inked a circle on my white card layer with dark colors to make it like a night sky!  I then stamped the Batty Background Ink Splatter!  Perfect to make it look like bats are flying around in the night sky!!

The sweet owl image is from the Spooky Fun stamp set!!

Go Long

Create a long, thin card...3.75"x9"!

What a great theme!  I find myself not creating cards this size very much!

I decided to create a Halloween card:

For the cute kids I used the super cute Ghoul-Tastic Halloween stamp set!  I just LOVE these images!!

The cat is from the Trick or Treat stamp set!

Such a fun shaker Halloween card!!

Trick or Treat

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's Designer Showcase Week at Your Next Stamp!!

We are celebrating Halloween...
with a Trick or Treat theme!!!

What a perfect theme, with Halloween just a few short days away!!

I decided to take this opportunity to create candy packages with my daughter for her class!!

We needed to create 20!  So we kept them simple, yet fun!
We used the awesome Treat Topper Die Set!!  My daughter had so much fun, as I let her cut out all the rectangle pieces from white cardstock!

We then created the handle part with random colored and patterned cardstock! 

We used random YNS stamp sets (listed below) to create the stamped portion of the treat bags!

I stamped the images in colored ink, so that I wouldn't have to color all the images in!

So fun!!  She is so excited to give them to her friends!!

YNS Challenge #50

Here is the card I created...

I used the Peek a Boo Trio Die Set Large to create the square opening, in which I then decided to use for a shaker card!!

I stamped the Batty Background Ink Splatter in yellow and Olive Green Ink on two of the squares that were made from the die and stamped the Mini Batty Background Ink Splatter in orange and Purple Passion Ink on the other two!

I also decided to stamp the Batty Background Ink Splatter on the bottom right corner of my pattern paper to make it a little more interesting!!

The sentiment is from the SpookTacular Halloween stamp set!  Which I stamped with Black Olive Ink on the tag from the Cool Tag Three Die Set!!

And as in most cases, I finished off my card by adding some lovely Gumdrops!!  I so love YNS's gumdrops!!!

YNS September Release

 It's release day at Your Next Stamp!!!
I just love release day!
Yay!!

So MANY great new stamp sets and dies being released today!!!  And another awesome new paper pad!!

I'm so excited to share my projects with you!!
It's all about Halloween for me!!

Up first I have a cute, well maybe scary, Halloween card!! ;)

I used the new SpookTacular Halloween stamp set!! And coordinating SpookTacular Halloween Dies for this beauty:

I just love the Frankenstein!! I placed him just behind my die cut Stitched Square Frame layer!! (LOVE this new die set!!!) 

I used the die cut square to create a shaker window!

Just to the left of Frankie, you can see a spider!!  The spider is stamped from the Fab-BOO-lous Halloween stamp set and die cut with the matching Fab-BOO-lous Halloween Dies!!  I stamped and die cut about 8 of them and added them in my shaker mix!!

Next up, I used some square test tubes to add some candy corn in and used the fun new So Corny stamp set to stamp and coordinating So Corny Dies to create the monster looking corn character: 

 How fun!!

I used the awesome preciously release Cool Tags Three Die Set for the tag!!

The sentiment is also part of the So Corny stamp set!  

I also used the new Happy Haunting Die Set to die cut the white spider web that I placed on my main tag layer!  Adds such a nice accent, I think!

What a fun release this has been!!
