Dare 2B Artzy and My Sweet Petunia Blog Hop

 Hello Stamping Friends!!

Dare 2B Artzy and My Sweet Petunia have teamed up to have a fun collaborative Blog Hop!!

Designers from both teams are excited to share some fun inspiration with you!!

---

I'd have to honestly say if it weren't for the lovely Misti I most likely wouldn't be into stamping as much as I am.  When I was introduced to stamping 20 years ago we only had wood blocks with stamps on and clear stamps were just starting to be introduced.  I remember being at my first stamping party and just being frustrated!  You'd stamp and the image wouldn't completely stamp. Or it wouldn't be bright enough.  So you'd try again and same thing!  I can remember thinking to myself, who could enjoy doing this!  LOL!  And here I am today addicted!!

I LOVE that with the Misti you can re-ink a stamp as many times as you need to and keep stamping the image till it is perfect!  I also LOVE that you can use it to create some awesome stamped backgrounds!!

So I'm super excited for this team-up!!  I have two projects I created to share with you today!

The first card I created is this super fun shaped card:

I used the new Fruit Loop stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy!!  And for this card I decided to use my Mini Misti!

I thought it would be fun to use the Double Dot Framelit Die set to create my shaped card.  I was going for the cheerio/fruit loop look!

I then stamped the solid circle image from the set randomly, using my Mini Misti to position them just right!!

I went with the fruit loop colors, so I used Pomegranate, Bright Pumpkin, Sunset Yellow, Margarita Lime, Midnight Blue and Wild Orchid inks!

Once I liked how it looked, I decided to use the Mini Misti to line up some of the circles again and stamp with Versamark Ink so I could emboss them with clear embossing powder!

I love how embossing some of them gives a nice shine, almost like you can see the sugar on the fruit loop!!

I added the 'Be a Fruit Loop in a World of Cheerios" sentiment!  I just love the fun sentiments in the Fruit Loop stamp set!
I finished off the card by randomly adding some clear beads!  I thought they gave a nice 'sugar' touch to my large fruit loop card!!

---

Next up I have a slimline card to share also using the Fruit Loop stamp set!
This time I used the cluster of circles to stamp a fun pattern along one edge of my white cardstock layer!

I used my Original Misti to create the background:

The cluster of circles is so much fun!!  You can create some fun backgrounds with it!!

I kept it simple for this card, as I wanted to create a bunch of layers.  I used paper from the lovely All The Buzz Collection!

I also used the new Wavy Slimline Framelit Die set!  I absolutely LOVE all the different layers in this die set!!  I also used the Wavy Slimline Border Dies!!

So fun!!

I love both my Original Misti and Mini Misti!!

Gelli Arts + D2BA Collaboration

Hello Artzy Friends!

I am so excited about this blog post today!!

Dare 2B Artzy and Gelli Arts have joined together for a fun collaboration!!

I have honestly never used Gelli Arts!  It's been on my to do list for awhile now!  But just haven't done it, so I am so thankful for this team-up!!  And the push to finally try it out!

LOVE it!!

I had so much fun creating my card for today's post!!

Here is a close-up:
So fun!!

Here is a look at my process:
I used the 5x7" Gelli Printing Plate!  I started by adding some acrylic Teal colored paint and then pressed the Wacky Boxes Stencil gently onto the plate to remove some of the paint.  I then grabbed my card base and placed the 'good side' down onto the plate and rubbed the back side gently.

Fun!!

Next I grabbed some purple paint!!
This time I decided to remove some of the paint by stamps.  I grabbed the fun Totally Tracy Textures stamp set!  I love the circle design!

Again I placed my card base on the plate and rubbed gently...
LOVE IT!!  I could have just stopped here....but I was having too much fun and decided to add one more layer.

This time I added some yellow!!  Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo here!  I was too into the project!! LOL!  But you can see it in the photo below...

So with the the Spring/Floral theme in mind, which I LOVE flowers, I decided to add one last layer.  But this time I didn't use the Gelli Plate.  I just used the fun Wild Flower Stencil to add some metallic white texture paste to the card base!!

I set the card base to the side to dry!

Back to the theme, I wanted to add a large flower to my card front!  So I grabbed the Totally Tracy Be Bold stamp set!  Instead of coloring the image in, I wanted to use a Gelli Arts plate to create a fun designed flower to go with my card background.

So I grabbed the 3" round mini plate from the Mini Kit!  I added a magenta paint to the plate and use the fun punchinella stencil, which is also included in the Mini Kit to rome some of the paint!!
I added then add some light pink metallic texture paste to the plate and used the 3 sided texture tool, also from the Mini Kit, to remove some of the paste.  (You can't see this design completely, unless looking really close, but I wanted to do this step to just mute the magenta paint a little) And to also add some shimmer to the flower!!

I then stamped the flower image on this pattern and fussy cut around the image!! Before adding it to my card base, I first stamped the 'be BOLD' sentiment from the Totally Tracy Totally Tracy Be Bold stamp set!

I then added the flower to my card base!

Here is my finished card:
So pretty!!

The possibilities are absolutely endless!
I can't wait to use my gelli plates again!!

I decided to create a few Thank You cards for the hop today, featuring the lovely new Playful Posies stamp set!

In creating these cards, I absolutely feel in LOVE with this stamp set!  It is so much fun to use!!

I really like being able to use the stamps to layer!  I started by stamping the solid layers first and then stamped each of the outlines slightly off, as I really like the look it gives!!
A great way to make multiple cards quickly!!

Although, the lovely outlines are super fun to color in as well!!

I used the Thanks stamp set for my 'thanks' sentiments and the Power of Flowers stamp set for my above 'thank you' sentiment!
Such bright and cheery thank you cards to give some special people in my life!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Happy Friday Crafty Friends!!

It is that time once again, another fabulous Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!!

The theme this time is....SUMMER!!

With that in mind, I created this fun card using stamps from Dare 2B Artzy!
I stamped the to go cup from the Perfect Blend stamp set two times on white cardstock and once on a piece of Hoot Hoot paper, in which I used the fun flower and leaf side!  With the Blog Hop theme of Summer in mind, I thought it would be fun to paper piece the cup so that it had some flowers on it!!

And after finishing up this card, I realized the card has a 4th of July color scheme going on, so fitting with the hop theme in mind as well!!  Not completely intended!!  Love when that happens!!

Have an Artzy Day!!

You Warm My Heart

Hello Stamping Friends!!

Dare 2B Artzy is a Super Sponsor for the Coffee Lover's Spring Blog Hop!
I've never joined in this hop before, but thought I finally would!!

I decided to feature the Perfect Blend stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy!!

I really like the mug stamp in the set and when I seen it, I thought it would be fun to "spice" it up a little, by adding some flowers!!  As most of my cappuccino/cocoa mugs have flowers on them!!

So I stamped the mug on a piece of white cardstock and used some post-it notes to mask up around the mug where I didn't want the flowers to stamp!  I used the Happiness Blooms stamp set for the cute cluster of flowers!
Now don't get me wrong this mug is awesome just the way it is!
But just think all the endless possibilities there are in customizing this mug!!  So fun!!

I did the same for the top part of the mug as well!!

I then used the coordinating Mug Die to die cut it out so I could use pop-dots to adhere it to my card base!
I stamped the mug on a piece of kraft cardstock as well and fussy cut the middle part, so I could then run it through my die cutting machine with a striped embossing folder!  Makes it look just like those coffee wraps!!

I really like how the mug turned out!!
I stamped the steam above the mug and added two enamel hearts!  I also added the 'You warm my heart' sentiment, which are both from the Perfect Blend stamp set as well!

I just love those pretty hearts on the mug!!

Check out all D2BA's products here!  And join in the hop!!  There are a lot of fabulous prizes being given away!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

First up I am showcasing the lovely new Cup of Cheer stamp set!
I'm not a coffee drinker, but am a sucker for Hot Cocoa!!  So I was so super excited to see this new stamp set!!!  My kids are just like me and love hot cocoa, so when I was creating this card my son even got a little chuckle from the set!

I stamped the mug a few times, so I could paper piece it!  Here is a close-up:
Isn't it adorable?!  I just love all the fun layers!!  I used the coordinating Mug Die to die cut the whipped topping, to add foam dots to, to also add some dimension to the mug!

I also featured a lovely new piece of paper!   I absolutely love the blue and orange plaid design!  It's on the back of the Joyful Bloom paper!  I also used a piece of Bright Pumpkin paper!!

---

There aren't too many wines that I really like, but I have a select few that I absolutely love!  And occasionally love to have when I craft or sit around with the family around the fireplace playing games!  And LOVE to have with girlfriends or during family functions!

So I was beyond excited to see the new Totally Tracy Always Wine Time stamp set!  So for my first project, I decided to create a wine tag:
I just love the sentiment!  It's so very true!!

Close-up:
I used some Artzy Doodles paper to create this tag!!  I love the designs and absolutely LOVE that each piece has a strip along the bottom that can be used as well!

So fun!!

Thanks for stopping by!

This new release is just so amazing, it was so hard to choose what products to work with as I love them all!!

I'm so excited, the holidays are right around the corner!!  The spirit has hit me the last few days!!
For my hop project, I decided to focus on creating a 3D Gift Box for a special gift for my mom!  She's been through a lot these last few weeks!

I purchased two birthstone charms (my kids birth months) for her charm bracelet she recently got, as well as a rhinestone heart charm!  I thought it would be super special to create a special box to present them to her in!

So I started by finding a cute .svg box file I really liked!  I cut it out on my Cameo two times!  This box actually cuts out as one piece!  I wanted to cut one layer up so that I could use two different pieces of pattern paper!

I used a piece of lovely Holly Days Paper  (top) and a piece of Red Sweater Paper (bottom)!

I absolutely LOVE how this box turned out!!

I really like the Poinsettia Tangle stamp set!!  It is an absolutely gorgeous stamp set!  It's been one of my most go to wintery sets this holiday season!
The Christmas sentiment from the set is so beautiful!!  What a lovely sentiment!  There are an additional three lovely sentiments in the set as well!!

Here is a close-up of my Poinsettia:
Isn't it beautiful?!?!  I love how it turned out!!  I stamped the image two times on Vellum with VersaMark ink and embossed with a lovely Pearl Embossing Powder!!

I then fussy cut one the around the entire image and the second I fussy cut only a few of the petals, so that I could use a pop-dot between the two and make it look more 3-dimensional!!

I think my mom will really like this package!!

We will then post a winner!!

---------

For my Christmas card I wanted to share with you today, I was inspired to use the beautiful Poinsettia Tangle stamp set!!!

The large poinsettia in this stamp set is absolutely gorgeous!!
I could see it colored in so many different ways, but for my card today, I decided to stick with the traditional red poinsettia!  Wanted and elegant holiday card!!

I really like the "Wishing a Beautiful Christmas" sentiment in the set as well!!  Perfect with the image!!

I decided to stamp the poinsettia two times, so I could trim it up to have a couple of the petals popped up, to make the flower look 3D!
How beautiful!!

I added some yellowish/gold rhinestones to the center, which I think adds the perfect touch!  Before adding the poinsettia to the card, I used a clear sparkly spritz to add sparkle to it!! LOVE!!

Behind the poinsettia I added a strip of the new Winter Plaid Paper!  I just love this paper for holiday cards!!  And even better, the opposite side is snowflakes!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
