Birthday Palooza

Great theme!  Especially since I realized going through my cards the other day that I don't have many Birthday cards made ahead!!

I used the super fun Circle Border Die to create the fun edge on both the top and bottom of my white cardstock layer!  I placed a fun piece of pattern paper behind.

The die cut 'Happy' is from the Happy Thoughts stamp and die set!  The stamped 'Birthday wishes.' sentiment is from the Time to Celebrate stamp set!

I finished off the card by adding some die cut stars from the 3 Star Stitched Die Set along with some enamel dots!!

Just Cards

I decided to create a fun Pop-Up Box Card!!

I started by grabbing the 3 Star Stitched Dies, as I decided it would be fun to create a Birthday card!  I die cut a bunch of stars!!

It took awhile to decide how to put all the stars!  But am I really happy with the outcome!

I used the Happy Thoughts stamp and die set to create the die cut 'Happy' and stamped 'birthday"!

The 'Hooray, it's your day!" sentiment is from the Time to Celebrate stamp set!  Which I stamped on a die cut banner from the Sentiment Label Dies set!

Masculine B-Day GC Holders

Tomorrow is my Dad's Birthday and next week my sisters boyfriend has a Birthday, so I used today's theme to create two gift card holders using the amazing Pretty Gift Card Holder Die!!

This die is so amazing!  I truly LOVE it!!  I love being able to create my own GC holders!!

I used the Happy Thoughts stamp and die set for the die cut 'Happy' and the stamped 'birthday!'!

I used the tiny star from the 3 Star Stitched Dies set to add to each of the holders, along with a button and twine!

Weird Holiday with MCT

I always enjoy today's theme, as it is fun to see what weird holidays are in the month!

November 21st is World Hello Day!
So I thought it would be fun to create a super fun card with that day in mind!!

Just a little background on the day:

The unofficial holiday was created by Brian and Michael McCormack as a response to the Yom Kippur War between Israel and a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria in 1973.

The purpose of World Hello Day is simple – to encourage communication and dialogue between people of different backgrounds in order to achieve peace and understanding.

Since its beginning in 1973, the day has been celebrated around the world annually with several Nobel Peace Prize winners and peace activists taking part in it.

Are you ready for my card?!?!

I sure hope so!!
I think it is super fun!!

I had so much fun creating this card!!  It turned out so fun!!

MCT 84th Edition Release

Today I am once again featuring the new Santa Hat Lollipop Holder Die!!

Instead of creating a lollipop holder, I decided to use the hat on the front of a card!

I really like how the Christmas card turned out!!

I placed my die cut 'Happy' from the Happy Thoughts stamp and die set just over the holes on the top of the hat, so you can't even tell they are there!!  So much fun!!

Whatever Wednesday with MCT

With the theme in mind and today being the 25th I decided to create a holiday project!  Christmas in July!!

I ABSOLUTELY love the new Treat Envelope Die!

I will be using it a lot for the Christmas season to create my own gift card holders!!

Here is the first one I created:

So pretty!!

The die cut 'Happy' and stamped 'holidays!' is from the Happy Thoughts stamp and die set!!  Which I placed on a die cut label from the Sentiments Label Dies set!

Flip it around and there is a flap that can be lifted and you can hide something fun inside:

In this case I put some velcro and placed a gift card inside!

Wouldn't it be great to receive a MCT gift card?!!?

MCT Day 1 Sneak Peek

Today we are showcasing the NEW 
Flower Border Die

I LOVE flowers!!  You can find me wondering in my garden my days just daydreaming and admiring my pretty flowers!!

So I was so super excited to see this fun Flower Border Die!!

Here is the first card I created with it:

I used the new border die to add the flower border to the bottom of my card.  I die cut the flower centers and added a center to each of the flowers.  I also used the separate flower die in the set to add a die cut flower behind my button!

The sentiment and die cut 'Happy' are from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set!

MCT Throwback Thursday

We were asked to showcase an older stamp set that isn't retired!!

I decided to work with the awesome Happy Thoughts stamp and die set for my sentiment. the 'You make my heart" was stamped with black ink and I die cut the Smile a few times and layered them together!

I used my Distress Oxide Inks to add the yellow on my white cardstock!  I then stamped two of the happy faces from the Just Brew It! stamp and die set randomly!

A fun little notecard!!
