You Are Beautiful with IBS

Good Morning Stamping Friends!!

I am on the Inspired By Stamping Blog today!!

For my card today, I have used the awesome new You Are stamp set, along with two older amazing stamp sets, Polka Dots and Butterflies!!

I absolutely love all these sets!

I started by creating my A2 card base and then stamped some of the Polka Dots on the right of the panel.

This stamp set is so fun to use to create your own patterns.

I then created a side panel smaller than the card base.  I stamped the beautiful butterfly in black ink and determined I was going to leave it as a silhouette, as the polka dots were stamped in fun colors and didn't want them to compete with each other.

 I then stamped my sentiment!  I stamped the "You are" you black and thought it would be fun to stamp the "beautiful" in colored ink to pull in the color from the polka dots!

Here is my finished card:

I think this card turned out super fun!!

Don't be afraid to use your stamps as silhouettes!  I sometimes get caught up and think I always have to color my images in!

But it is so beautiful not colored and letting the polka dots be stamped in colored ink!

Polka Dot Challenge with D2BA

Hello Stamping Friends!

Dare 2B Artzy has a new Challenge up on the Blog today!!

The Challenge is....
Polka Dots

I love polka dots!!

I decided to use the super fun Tracy's Textures stamp set!!

My card:

I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!

The fun bright colors help!  I used Sunset Yellow, Bright Pumpkin, Paradise, Margarita Lime!!

I added the fun "Happy Birthday" sentiment, which is part of the Birthday Balloons with Die set!!

I finished it off by adding some sequins!!

Wishing You IBS January Release

Good Morning Stamping Friends!!

It's Release Day at Inspired By Stamping!!!!
Joanna has out-did herself again!  There are 4 new, amazing stamp sets being released this week!!

First up, we are featuring the new Wishing You stamp set!!
I just LOVE this set!

Here's the first card, I created using it:

There is a large "Wishing You" sentiment in the set, along with 9 other smaller sentiments.

I decided to use the "the best day ever" sentiment, as my daughter uses the phrase a lot!

I really like how this fun card turned out!!

I also used the fun Polka Dots stamp set to add the fun circles on the pretty patterned paper!  The tiniest polka dot is from the Teeny Tiny Greetings stamp set.

The arrows pointing to the "the best day ever" sentiment is part of the It's Your Birthday stamp set!

Good Morning Stamping Friends!!

I picked a few of the colors to work with, altered the sketch a little and added some gold!

I rarely ever used gold for cards, unless they are holiday cards, so I thought that would be a fun challenge for me!

Here is the card I created:

A fun birthday card!!
The sentiment is part of the Watercolor Sentiments stamp set!

I also used the fun Polka Dots stamp set, to add some polka dots to the striped pattern paper.  I used the circle outline in the set to add gold outlines randomly.  I used shades of blue ink to add solid circles and patterned circles from the set.

I also inked the edges of my paper with gold ink!!

I just LOVE this time of month!!

The "Grandpa" is part of the Masculine Tags II set!!

As some of you may know, I recently lost my Grandpa. :(  This was the last card I created for him before he passed.
