I'm excited to share a few of the things I have created with the new stamps along with some other wonderful new goodies being offered by IBS!!

First up, is two altered suckers!

I picked up these fun suckers for the kids and added a little personal touch to them!
I used the new Halloween Tags set to create the fun sentiments in the center!

I stamped the cute little witch hat from the set and then fussy-cut it out and added it to the tag!

I wrapped some some new orange ribbon around the plastic stick of the right sucker!

Such a fun and easy altered project!!

These suckers are called "Dizzy Suckers" as they actually spin!!

---------------------------

I used the new Halloween Faces for this package!
 Aren't they adorable!!??!!

There are so many different faces you can create!

The little pumpkin is popped up using a spring, so it actually wobbles!! :)

I also used some new black ribbon on this package!

Motorcycle Card

One of the ladies my mom works with has fallen in love with my cards and has been ordering some from me lately!

Recently she asked me to create a wedding card with a motorcycle on it, if possible.  Never had a wedding card request like this, but was inspired to make one she really liked.

This is what I came up with:
I just LOVE the checkered banner from Inspired By Stamping's new set Mason Jars!!  When I got this set I knew I had to use it for a card like this sometime!!  Being a lover of car racing, this banner will come in handy for a lot of cards!!

The sentiment is from a set from My Thoughts Exactly called More Mini Thoughts!

So the kids and I went to drop of the card and I got the story why she wanted a motorcycle on it, which then made it more clear!  The couple are huge Harley fans and they are actually getting married at a Harley dealership in the area this weekend!

So the card is perfect and most importantly she loved it!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Yummy Candy Box

I'm so excited to share the sweet candy container I made!

I recently purchased the "Cracker -Treat Box" from the Cutting Cafe.  I just love this file, will be using it a lot!

It creates this adorable package to add some yummy goodies inside:
I bought some Dove Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter candies....YUMMY!  I think I ate just about half the bag!  Will have to purchase some more to make more projects!! :)

The adorable ghost and sentiment are from this month's release at My Thoughts Exactly!
The set is called Fright Night Friends!
Alyssa has also released some FREE SVG's for this set!

I used some Creative Inspirations in Fairy Dust to add shimmer to the ghost!

And Mango to the scallop edges:

Halloween Treat Bag

Yesterday, I shared some cool treat bags I created with the kids:
I wanted to share a tutorial on how I dyed the middle one orange.

My little guy really likes the ghost from the My Thoughts Exactly set Fright Night Friends, which is why I stamped the ghost on this one.

Anyway, the lovely owner of MTE sent me these little bags to alter for our current challenge this month. I admit at first I was a little overwhelmed, as I wasn't sure what to do with them, but once I started stamping on them the ideas started flying!

I obviously thought right away, how can I use my Creative Inspirations Paint to add some lovely shimmer to them!!

I decided to use Mango to dye one of them a shimmer orange!

My jar of Mango didn't have much paint left in it, so I just added some water right into the jar and used a paint brush to stir it up
I then poured the contents of the jar into a zip-lock bag, as well as the fabric bag.

I then scrunched/smashed (not sure what are the right words to use) the zip-lock bag trying to make sure the paint covered the entire treat bag.

I took the treat bag out, when I thought it was completely covered:

I was already very happy with the results, just look at the shimmer!!

I needed to leave the bag sit for a day to dry.

Then I altered it using stamps!

I used Memento Black ink to stamp the images, but found that it doesn't completely stamp that well on the fabric.  So I then used  my black Zig Pigment marker to go over the lines and make them darker!

Close-up of the shimmery treat bag:

Lastly, and most important.....finish by adding some treats!! :)

In the case of the bat treat bag, I stamped my images on the bag, but instead of going over with my Zig marker, I instead used a tiny paint brush and CI Paint Coal to make the sentiment and bats look better.  And shimmer!! :)
You can see in the above picture that the bat and the "a" in Happy have had shimmer already added to them!

What a fun project this was!!

These amazing cotton drawstring bags are from State Line Bag Co. !

Can you believe it's the last day of August?!

With that brings the school year!  I can't believe my little guy will be starting 4K on Tuesday!  This is a first for me, so I obviously am excited for him yet sad as it means my baby is growing!

I wanted to create his teacher a little card and right away knew the perfect set!

I stamped the image on the front of this little notecard I created and then again on yellow cardstock so that I could pop up the ruler!

Fav. Technique

This week's Sweet Stamps Challenge is a:

Favorite Technique

I found it kind of hard to decide what my favorite technique was!  As I like so many different ones!

So I decided to think of what has been my favorite technique seen I began my journey with SweetStamps.com, it then became very clear to me!!

I just love Parchment Crafting!  I was first introduced to this technique when I started on this design team, and love it!
I especially LOVE using some of Sweet Stamps butterflies to parchment craft!

For this card I used the Flowery Butterfly!
I just love how it turned out!  I stamped the butterfly first on one of the sheets of paper from one of my favorite Authentique paper pads Uncommon!  Cut it out, then stamped the butterfly on vellum and embossed with white embossing powder!  I then cut out a few of the sections of the butterfly so you could see the underneath paper even more!

Just love that result!!

I also love this Wonderful Day sentiment from SS!!
