Wonderful, Fabulous & Beautiful with HBS

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

This is a first for me today, as far using Honey Bee Stamps stamp sets digitally!!  I can't wait to share my digital project life page with you!

Are you a digital lover?

Enjoy creating project life pages, scrapbook pages or even cards digitally?

Honey Bee Stamp offers Digital Print and Cut Files!!  How cool is that?!!

So I decided to work with the digital versions of some of the stamp sets.

*So please be aware that I resized the images to different sizes then they are originally in stamp set form*

That is something nice about digital forms!  Especially since I wanted the size of my title I created to be larger.

I have been wanting to create a project life page with Beautiful Life set for awhile, but as many people time sometimes gets away from me!  I find that sometimes creating digital project life pages I am able to work faster.  So I thought I would finally give my idea a try!

I started by first opening the stamp sets I wanted to use.  I then copied the images I wanted to use onto separate layers.

This organization just works best for me.

I then begin another document which is my actual project life page.

I drag in papers and photos I want to use.  As well as copying and pasting the "stamps" I want to use, from the layers I created, as shown above.

Another in progress look:

My finished page:
I wanted to create the "You Are wonderful fabulous & beautiful" sentiment, so I used the Beautiful Life Digital Print and Cut Files for the words!!  The "&" symbol is from the Brush Grunge Alpha Digital Print and Cut Files.

When you look closer, you will see I added the cute little hearts from the Just My Type Digital Print and Cut Files after the "You are"!!
In this photo you can see in the upper left I added the "I Love You More." sentiment from the Life Right Now Digital Print and Cut Files to the photo of my daughter and I.  I also added the directional arrows from the Just Sayin' Digital Print and Cut Files just about my sentiment.

I love these stamp sets so much!  It was so fun to be able to use them digitally!!

Stay tuned as I am sure I will show off more sets in the future being used digital to give you inspiration!!

Hello Sweetie

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

For my project today I wasn't sure if I was going to create a greeting card or a project life card.

I start out by grabbing some stamps and die cutting this 3x4 card!  I recently just got this die as I thought it would be super fun to use for both greeting cards and project life cards!  It's from Frantic Stamper!  It's the Diagonal Stripe 3x4 Photo Card!!  I absolutely LOVE it!
I ended up deciding to create an actual card with it first.  One for a friend.

I decided to use the beautiful "hello" from the Life Right Now stamp set, paired up with the "Sweet" and "ie" from the Sweet As Honey stamp set!

So I first stamped the hello in a pretty pink ink.  I really love the swirly part at both the beginning and end!  So I was thinking it would be fun to try make the entire sentiment feel as one.
So I then stamped both the sweet and then added the ie.

I then inked up only the swirly end of the hello, so I could then stamp the swirl as if it was coming out of the sweetie!

Here's my finished card:
I think it turned out super fun!!

Not only I am super excited with how the sentiment turned out, but I LOVE the fun bright colors I used as well!!

Can't get enough of the fun sentiment!!!

Do What You Love with HBS

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I am featuring a two page layout today for my post using some of my HBS stamps!!
I absolutely love the Brush Grunge Alpha!!
You can create endless amounts of sentiments!!

I also love all the other awesome sets as well!
They are so much fun to mix and match!!

In the corners that would touch, I stamped the swirl from the Flakey Sentiments stamp set.  Thought it added the perfect touch.  Kind of ties in the swirls from the paper.

I started by first creating the "Do What You Love!" sentiment!

I mainly used the Brush Grunge Alpha set, but masked and only inked up the "you" from the "you are loved" sentiment in the Beautiful Life stamp set!

I also added some hearts around the sentiment, which are also part of the  Beautiful Life stamp set!

I loved the stars along with the star sentiment, which are part of the Life Right Now stamp set.  Thought it would be a perfect fit for this layout!
As I was ready to stamp it, I thought it would be super fun to create the "super" from the Brush Grunge Alpha, to create a "super star"sentiment!

My little girl loves being on stage, she sure thinks she's a star!!
I also added some stars

I then thought it would be appropriate to add the "You Are Beautiful" sentiment from the Beautiful Life stamp set!

Lastly, I  decided to create the "Tap & Ballet" title with the Brush Grunge Alpha!
Isn't it fun how these sets can be mixed and matched together so nicely!

I love it!!

Pretty Ornament with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!

This is my second post of the day, so be sure to see my post below as well!!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I am excited to share this creative card with you!  I hope you enjoy!

I thought it would be fun to create me own stamped ornament using some of the tiny images in some of the Honey Bee sets!

I started by taking a thin piece of printer part and die cutting a circle from it.

I wanted to use the negative piece, which will turn into my ornament!  I used painters tape to hold the stencil I created in place.  I also decided I wanted to leave a section empty from a design, so I could add a sentiment to the ornament as well.

I then grabbed some awesome stamps!

I decided I wanted to use the pretty swirl from the Thanks stamp set!  I also decided to use the cute little heart from the Cherish stamp set to use between a few of the swirls, to add a little more interest!
A this point I was already getting very excited!!

Here's a picture of my ornament all stamped up!!
As you can tell I decided to create the ornament elegant and stick with traditional Christmas colors!

Here is another look, but this time with the "celebrate" sentiment added as well as some gold stars!
Both the sentiment and star are part of the Life Right Now stamp set!!

I finished the ornament up by deciding to take a black marker and trace around my circle template.  I could have left it as is, but decided I wanted a definite edge to my ornament.

I also used my marker and a ruler to add "string" from the top of the ornament!

Now for my finished card:
Isn't it beautiful?!

I really love how it turned out!!

Here's one more look:

Just image all the beautiful ornaments you could create!!

I'm so excited to create more cards like this in the future!!

Celebrate with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I wanted to have some fun today and extend my use of my stamps!

I grabbed the Brush Grunge Alpha set, as the brush stroke really caught my eye in this set! I already love this set for the beautiful alphabet and the endless sentiments and titles you can create, but I visioned a Christmas tree with this set, perfect with the holidays right around the corner!!

You can see my complete tutorial on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!

Here is the card I created:
How cool is this Christmas tree?!?!
It was created using the brushstroke, which is part of the Brush Grunge Alpha set!

It's so much fun to look at your stamps differently and get more uses out of them!!

Close-up:
With an added star, also from the Brush Grunge Alpha set, and some rhinestones, you have a lovely Christmas tree!

The "celebrate" sentiment is part of the Life Right Now set.

Layered Flower with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I just LOVE their stamps!!  I can't get enough of them!

For my card today I wanted to play around with the pretty flower from the Cherish stamp set!!

So I started by gathering my supplies:
As you can see I stamped the flower outline once on pattern paper shown above.

I stamped the flower a few times on two different papers and then fussy cut them out...
As you can see I did alter the flower a little, but fussy cutting it down in size!  One flower, but so many different combinations you could create!

Here's a close-up look of the original flower and one of the smaller ones put together:
So pretty!  I love the layered look!!

My finished card, I just love how it turned out!!
Isn't it gorgeous?!

Here is a look at my finished flowers:
Just look at that sparkle!  LOVE it!

On a recent shopping trip with the kids, hubby was gone hunting for a week in Canada, so the kids and I always find some kind of fun art project to do while he is gone.  So went visited Hobby Lobby and found a bunch of fun things!  Well while looking around I was so excited to find some Mod Podge that has Sparkle in it!  Had to have it!!  Thought it would be perfect for these flowers!!

The beautiful "hello" sentiment is part of the Life Right Now stamp set!  And as I mentioned before, I just love that all of Honey Bee Stamps stamp sets work great together, as I paired up the "hello" with the "friend" friend from the Cherish set!  Created my own sentiment!
The directional arrows pointing to the friend sentiment are part of the No Place Like Home stamp set!

I also added a swirl to each of the top corners of my card, which is from the Thanks stamp set!!
Super fun card, with so much love put into it!!
