Bee Happy with HBS

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

For my card today, I based it off of the Mood Board Challenge currently going on at HBS!!
13015345_10208121512828919_4186936398311942132_n

I started by creating my Tri Fold Shutter Card Base.  I then started choosing the papers I wanted to use.
I then stamped some of the pieces of paper.

I am so super happy with how this card turned out!!

Here's a look at the card closed:
I stamped the pretty floral image from the Sweet As Honey stamp set a few time on the two end panels.

Again I used the Sweet As Honey stamp set to stamp the honeycomb image, sentiment and bee on the center panel!

A view of the card opened up:
So fun!!

I stamped the honeycomb image and tiny bee on the right center panel around the edges so that a message could be written in the middle for the recipient!

I stamped the "Have a Sweet Day" sentiment from the Happy Everything stamp set to the right panel.

When I first started creating this card I knew I wanted to use the fun Hand Lettered Alpha to create the "Bee" Happy!!" sentiment on my center middle panel!!
I also added some more bees from the Sweet As Honey stamp set around my sentiment!!

I really like how this card turned out!  Been a while since I created a card with this fold type!

Hello Sweetie

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

For my project today I wasn't sure if I was going to create a greeting card or a project life card.

I start out by grabbing some stamps and die cutting this 3x4 card!  I recently just got this die as I thought it would be super fun to use for both greeting cards and project life cards!  It's from Frantic Stamper!  It's the Diagonal Stripe 3x4 Photo Card!!  I absolutely LOVE it!
I ended up deciding to create an actual card with it first.  One for a friend.

I decided to use the beautiful "hello" from the Life Right Now stamp set, paired up with the "Sweet" and "ie" from the Sweet As Honey stamp set!

So I first stamped the hello in a pretty pink ink.  I really love the swirly part at both the beginning and end!  So I was thinking it would be fun to try make the entire sentiment feel as one.
So I then stamped both the sweet and then added the ie.

I then inked up only the swirly end of the hello, so I could then stamp the swirl as if it was coming out of the sweetie!

Here's my finished card:
I think it turned out super fun!!

Not only I am super excited with how the sentiment turned out, but I LOVE the fun bright colors I used as well!!

Can't get enough of the fun sentiment!!!

Bee Mine with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I have a sweet Valentine's Day card to share with you!

I started off by collecting my supplies and using the Brush Grunge Alpha to stamp the word "mine".

Got an idea of what sentiment I am going to create?!

Here's a sneak:
I used the Sweet As Honey stamp set to add the other half of the sentiment.  As you can see I wanted it to be sparkly!!

If you guessed that I stamped the word "bee" from that set, you are right!!
I also stamped some of the honeycomb designs, as well as some cute bumblebees and hearts!!

My entire card:
A super fun and sweet card!!

Christmas Wreath with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

With the holidays right around the corner, I once again was inspired to create a holiday card!!

First off, I decided to use the Not Too Shabby stamp set, as I thought the wreath would be perfect to use for a Christmas wreath.

Here is a look at the lighter green wreath stamped and the darker green color waiting to be stamped:

A look at the finished stamped wreath:

Now you're ready to spruce it up!!

I decided to add a bow and some rhinestones for "berries" or "lights"!
Isn't this a elegant Christmas card?!

I just love how it turned out!!

I created the "Holidays" sentiment using the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set!
I just love the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set, it makes creating your own larger sentiments so easy!

I used a shimmery red ink for the sentiment!

I also added the "HAPPY" from the Sweet As Honey stamp set, to the front of my created sentiment!

Sweet as Honey with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I played around with the stamps a little bit for today's post.

I first collected some of the supplies I wanted to work with.
I decided to work with the Sweet As Honey stamp set!!

Sometimes, if I'm not sure what my vision is yet, I just grab my supplies and stamp on some scrap paper, till an idea sparks!!
So this is my scrap piece of paper!

As I was playing around with the stamps, I decided on my final project I wanted two of the bees to be used, but the "swirl" behind it wasn't they way I actually wanted it.  So one nice thing about clear stamps, sometimes you are able to alter the stamps slightly without wrecking them!!

Check it out:
Pretty neat!!

Here's a look at the Project Life card I created:
So sweet!  Will be perfect to use in my little girl's album!!

Here's the stamped bumble bee with the altered "swirl" behind!!
I just love this sweet set!

So many fun sentiments and images to use!!

Wonderful Friend with Honey Bee Scraps

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Scraps Blog!!

Today I am sharing a card I created for a sweet friend!

Something I really like about the Honey Bee Scraps stamp sets is the fact that you can mix and match them to create your own sentiments!!

I love the large sentiments in the Beautiful Life stamp set!

When I seen the work "wonderful" I knew I wanted to create a card for a friend, so that it would say wonderful "friend"!  No problem as the Sweet As Honey stamp set has the "friend" sentiment in it!!
It's so awesome to be able to mix and match sets!  Creates so many more possibilities!!

It's as if the friend was meant to go with the wonderful sentiment as it fits perfectly under the "ful" part of the sentiment!!

I also really liked the "swirl" in the Sweet As Honey stamp set, I thought it would be fun to use to create some more interest on my pattern paper.
Fits right in!  Looks as though it was there!

Now for my finished card:
I just LOVE how it turned out!  Such fun colors!!

The beautiful floral image is from the Not Too Shabby stamp set!
All these sets work so beautifully together!!
