Christmas Wreath with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

With the holidays right around the corner, I once again was inspired to create a holiday card!!

First off, I decided to use the Not Too Shabby stamp set, as I thought the wreath would be perfect to use for a Christmas wreath.

Here is a look at the lighter green wreath stamped and the darker green color waiting to be stamped:

A look at the finished stamped wreath:

Now you're ready to spruce it up!!

I decided to add a bow and some rhinestones for "berries" or "lights"!
Isn't this a elegant Christmas card?!

I just love how it turned out!!

I created the "Holidays" sentiment using the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set!
I just love the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set, it makes creating your own larger sentiments so easy!

I used a shimmery red ink for the sentiment!

I also added the "HAPPY" from the Sweet As Honey stamp set, to the front of my created sentiment!

Wonderful Friend with Honey Bee Scraps

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Scraps Blog!!

Today I am sharing a card I created for a sweet friend!

Something I really like about the Honey Bee Scraps stamp sets is the fact that you can mix and match them to create your own sentiments!!

I love the large sentiments in the Beautiful Life stamp set!

When I seen the work "wonderful" I knew I wanted to create a card for a friend, so that it would say wonderful "friend"!  No problem as the Sweet As Honey stamp set has the "friend" sentiment in it!!
It's so awesome to be able to mix and match sets!  Creates so many more possibilities!!

It's as if the friend was meant to go with the wonderful sentiment as it fits perfectly under the "ful" part of the sentiment!!

I also really liked the "swirl" in the Sweet As Honey stamp set, I thought it would be fun to use to create some more interest on my pattern paper.
Fits right in!  Looks as though it was there!

Now for my finished card:
I just LOVE how it turned out!  Such fun colors!!

The beautiful floral image is from the Not Too Shabby stamp set!
All these sets work so beautifully together!!

Bordered Sentiment with Honey Bee Scraps

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Scraps Blog!!

I am going to show you a little bit of my process for this card!

I love the Bordered Sentiment Technique, so I thought it would be fun to share it with you as well.

First, start by grabbing some supplies:
Stamps
Cardstock Base
Inks
Scrap Piece of Printer Paper (Mine was 1" in height, as you want it to be slightly bigger then your sentiment you are going to use)
Painter's Tape

----------------
Are you ready?!

Start by first decided where you would like your sentiment to go, lay your scrap piece of paper down and put painter's tape in place so the cardstock base doesn't move on you.

You can then decided what image you would like to use to create your border.  I decided to use the beautiful floral image from the Not Too Shabby stamp set!

As you can see, I decided to work with a few different shades of pink to give it some dimension.  It is totally up to you how many colors you would like to use.

Stamp your sentiment.

You can now either just leave it as is, or add a nice little touch, which I usually like to do, by scoring two lines to make the border more defined.

Or you can use a fine marker to create lines, which I did in this case:

Now you are ready to finish up your card!!
----------------

Here is my finished card:
I love how it turned out!!

The "hello" sentiment I used is part of the Life Right Now set!!
I love all the layers of flowers!!

True Story with Honey Bee Scraps

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Scraps Blog!!

So for my Wordy Wednesday sentiment this week I decided to go with "True Story"!

Which is part of the Life Right Now stamp set!

It is so fun to record some of those serious and funny memories in life!
So I decided to create two cards, so I could use one for each of my kids albums.

And in this case, I decided I would add a funny story to the cards, so I added the "LOL" sentiment to the bottom right of each cards.  Which is also part of the Life Right Now stamp set!

The chevrons by the "true story" sentiment are part of the No Place Like Home stamp set!
And lastly, the tiny hearts and stars are part of the Not Too Shabby stamp set!

I just love the tiny accents in each of the stamp sets!

They always seem to add that perfect touch to any project you create!!

Counting my Blessings with Honey Bee Scraps

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Scraps Blog!!

This week's "Wordy Wednesday" Sentiment is....counting my blessings!

I started out knowing that I wanted to use the beautiful floral image from the Not Too Shabby stamp set!!

I ended up deciding to use it to create a card, so my next step was deciding what sentiment I wanted to use!

Creating a "thank you" card came to mind with the beautiful flowers.
So the "counting my blessings" sentiment was the perfect stamp to use, which is part of the Oh, Snap set!!

Close-up:
I used the super fun Painter's Tape Technique for the background behind the beautiful floral image!!

This Moment with You

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Scraps Blog!!

I started out buy using the "this moment" sentiment svg, which I die cut on the green striped paper.  I decide to put just a plain piece of dark blue cardstock behind!
Looking at my fun Honey Bee Scraps stamp sets, I decided to create more of a sentiment from the die cut.  I add the "I (heart)" before the die cut, which is part of the No Place Like Home stamp set!  I used one of my glitter pens to make the heart sparkly!!

I then masked "come away with me" sentiment, also from the No Place Like Home stamp set, so that I would only stamp the "with".  I finished the sentiment up by masking up the "I adore you" sentiment, from the Not Too Shabby stamp set, so that I would only stamp the "you"!
The cute little hearts are also part of the Not Too Shabby stamp set!!

There you have it....a awesome customized sentiment using a bunch of fun products from Honey Bee Scraps!!!
Happy Stamping!!

Moon and Back with Honey Bee Scraps

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my first day posting on the Honey Bee Scraps Blog!!

I am so excited!

I am in love with their stamps!
They are even more amazing in real life!

It's Wordy Wednesday, so I decided to use a sentiment from the Not Too Shabby stamp set that is said a lot in our house!
I just love how it turned out!!

Along with the sentiment I also used the two stars in the set to create my own background!
I started by first sponging my background with ink, then I used a stencil and the same ink to create the light stars randomly on the card.  I finished it off then by stamping the stars from the Not Too Shabby stamp set in the same ink color I stamped the sentiment.
Super fun!  So much fun to use these stamps to create your own Project Life Cards!!!!
