Wonderful Mom with HBS

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

Today my post is in honor of all the wonderful mothers out there!  With Mother's Day being this weekend, I was inspired to create a card for the holiday.

I started by adding some adhesive tape to my vellum, then stamped my "Mom" sentiment created using the Brush Grunge Alphabet with VersaMark ink and then embossed with black embossing powder.
I also stamped the tiny "wonderful" from the BeautifulLife stamp set!  So my complete sentiment would be "Wonderful Mom", perfect for a Mother's Day card!!

I then picked out my papers and decided I would add the oval to a piece of pinkish cardstock.

I then took a piece of white cardstock along with some distressed inks to create my main panel for my card.

After I liked how the piece looked, I used the Not Too Shabby stamp set to stamp the floral image around the edges a few times!!  I wanted my sentiment to stand out, so I stamped the flowers in a light gray color.

Now for a look at my finished card:
I really like how it turned out!

And honestly this wouldn't have to be used as  a Mother's Day card, it could actually be used any time of the year to let a special mom know how wonderful they are!!

I hope all the moms out there have a wonderful weekend!  You all deserve the best!

Hooked On U!

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I have a combination of one of their awesome stamp sets, along with a fun new die from Frantic Stamper!

I started off by first opening the Brush Grunge Alpha Digital .svg file.
I then created the word I was looking to create - "hooked" !!

Once I thought the letters were overlapped properly, I welded the letters together.
Then I obviously cut the word out!!

After cut out, I then stamped the Brush Grunge Alpha letters needed to create my word!

So by now you are probably wondering "hooked", why "hooked"??

I recently got the Fishing Pole die and was going to create a Father's Day card with it, but then ended up thinking creating the word "hooked" with it looking like the rod is pulling it up would be fun!!

Here's a look at my finished card:
I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!

So it went from being a Father's Day card to more of a card to get my hubby just because!!
It's sometimes funny how our visions change as we start creating a project!!

The two banner strips on the top right were created with the banner die from the Diagonal Card Sketcher!!

Happy Easter with HBS

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

With Easter coming up this weekend, I wanted to feature an Easter card for my post today!
Which meant I once again have to show you how wonderful the Brush Grunge Alpha is!!

I honestly can't get enough of this amazing stamp set?

As I have mentioned before I just really LOVE all the endless possibilities that are in this one set!!

With HBS not having an actual Easter stamp set, I was able to use the Brush Grunge Alpha to create an Easter sentiment!!
The "Happy" is part of an Wonderland exclusive stamp set the HBS created for Clinque Kits!

I die cut the easter egg shape from my Cameo to create the shaker part, as well as the striped design.
I love these seed beads inside the shaker, something different then the sequins all the time!  The pastel colors go so well with the paper!

Dirt & A Frog with HBS

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

Today I am featuring a project life page!

Last summer my son found a tree frog and just loved it!
He insisted I take some pictures of him with it!!

So here the pictures are finally put in a protector page for his album:
I added the "Never Stop Exploring" sentiment from the No Place Like Home stamp set on a little banner to the top right photo.

For the main title I used the "Today's Adventure" from the No Place Like Home stamp set!  I thought it was perfect!!  I first typed a little writing on my computer and printed it, then stamped the sentiment.
As well as adding the "Adventure is out there" sentiment from that set as well to the bottom right corner.

I stamped the solid heart from the Beautiful Life stamp set in a dark green ink!

To go off of the "Today's Adventure" title, I decided to use the Brush Grunge Alphabet to a create the "dirt & a frog." subtitle!

Nothing too fancy, especially since it is for my son's album.  But just wanted to show once again how perfect Honey Bee's Stamps are for project life pages as well as scrapbook pages!!

Do What You Love with HBS

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I am featuring a two page layout today for my post using some of my HBS stamps!!
I absolutely love the Brush Grunge Alpha!!
You can create endless amounts of sentiments!!

I also love all the other awesome sets as well!
They are so much fun to mix and match!!

In the corners that would touch, I stamped the swirl from the Flakey Sentiments stamp set.  Thought it added the perfect touch.  Kind of ties in the swirls from the paper.

I started by first creating the "Do What You Love!" sentiment!

I mainly used the Brush Grunge Alpha set, but masked and only inked up the "you" from the "you are loved" sentiment in the Beautiful Life stamp set!

I also added some hearts around the sentiment, which are also part of the  Beautiful Life stamp set!

I loved the stars along with the star sentiment, which are part of the Life Right Now stamp set.  Thought it would be a perfect fit for this layout!
As I was ready to stamp it, I thought it would be super fun to create the "super" from the Brush Grunge Alpha, to create a "super star"sentiment!

My little girl loves being on stage, she sure thinks she's a star!!
I also added some stars

I then thought it would be appropriate to add the "You Are Beautiful" sentiment from the Beautiful Life stamp set!

Lastly, I  decided to create the "Tap & Ballet" title with the Brush Grunge Alpha!
Isn't it fun how these sets can be mixed and matched together so nicely!

I love it!!

Bee Mine with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

I have a sweet Valentine's Day card to share with you!

I started off by collecting my supplies and using the Brush Grunge Alpha to stamp the word "mine".

Got an idea of what sentiment I am going to create?!

Here's a sneak:
I used the Sweet As Honey stamp set to add the other half of the sentiment.  As you can see I wanted it to be sparkly!!

If you guessed that I stamped the word "bee" from that set, you are right!!
I also stamped some of the honeycomb designs, as well as some cute bumblebees and hearts!!

My entire card:
A super fun and sweet card!!

Christmas Wreath with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!
It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

With the holidays right around the corner, I once again was inspired to create a holiday card!!

First off, I decided to use the Not Too Shabby stamp set, as I thought the wreath would be perfect to use for a Christmas wreath.

Here is a look at the lighter green wreath stamped and the darker green color waiting to be stamped:

A look at the finished stamped wreath:

Now you're ready to spruce it up!!

I decided to add a bow and some rhinestones for "berries" or "lights"!
Isn't this a elegant Christmas card?!

I just love how it turned out!!

I created the "Holidays" sentiment using the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set!
I just love the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set, it makes creating your own larger sentiments so easy!

I used a shimmery red ink for the sentiment!

I also added the "HAPPY" from the Sweet As Honey stamp set, to the front of my created sentiment!
