This week's challenge at the Designed 2 Delight DT's Card Ideas & Challenge Blog is:
Images from the Attic: "Be Mine Bear" or "Puppy Love"
If you don't already own either of these images you can grab it in the D2D; "Be Mine Bear" or "Puppy Love".
We were to use one of the D2D images to create a card along with a matching gift.
I decided to use "Be Mine Bear".
There's candy kisses inside my little package!! :)
I printed out the bear two times, so that I could pop up her scarf and to also embossed the heart! I then used CI Paints "Fairy Dust", "Pink Highlights" and "Blush" to add shimmer to the dots! If you haven't tried these paints yet, you really should, they're amazing! I'm SO hooked!
----------------------------------------
Candy Kisses Package:
1. Cut your main piece of cardstock 4 1/2" x 4 1/4". (If you don't plan to use an edger punch along the sides, you can cut the paper 4" x 4 1/4")
2. Trim each side with an edger punch.
3. If you'd like to add another piece of paper, (I used hearts) cut that at 3" x 4 1/4" and adhere to your main side.
4. Then score at 3/4", 1 3/4" and 3".
5. Add your KISSES!! :) I put a little glue dot on the bottom of each to adhere them. (The get glued to the second smallest section - look at pic)
6. Add adhesive to to the top flap.
7. Close up your package!
8. Decorate to your desire!!
