For my card I decided to switch up the sketch just a little!!

Instead of the heart, I decided to create a snowflake!  A shaker one to be exact!!

I am so obsessed with shaker cards lately!!

I used some of the beautiful snowflakes from the Winter Wonderland stamp set!

The "Let It Snow" is also part of the set!

A Few of My Favorite Things
What a fun dare!!

My favorite things include: Snowmen, Snowflakes, Pattern Paper, Gumdrops/Rhinestones, Shaker Cards and Dies!!

Ready for my cute card?!

Here it is:

I just LOVE this adorable snowman!

He's part of the Snow Much Joy stamp set!

I thought it would be fun to create a shaker card with him, since that seems to be such a fun card to create!  I just love seeing everyone's reactions when I give them a shaker card!  Young or older, they all seem to love them!!

The "Let It Snow" sentiment is part of the Little Darling Winter stamp set!

Hello Sweet Crafty Friends!

Happy Sunday, hope you are having a lovely day so far!

Mynn, owner of MHK Designs, has release some fun new digital stamp sets!! 

First up, is a fun winter card using the Sled Friends digital stamp set:

Such a fun image and great sentiment!

I absolutely LOVE the Stencil In the Roses digital stamp set!!

 I love how I added a bunch of the rose clumps to the left side of the card!

And lastly I used the Wheely Like You digital stamp set!

I just love this old bike with the flower basket on the front!!

11th Day of Gift Giving with YNS

Hello Stamping Friends!

 Time once again for some fun with Your Next Stamp products!!!

Have you been following the blog the last few days?
We've done a series on "12 Days of Gift Giving"!

There has been some really amazing ideas shared!

Be sure to check them all out on the blog!

With that being said.......It's my turn!

I am featuring the Pillow Box Die!
I really enjoy using dies like this to create sweet little gifts.

I started out by die cutting the box:

When I cut my pillow box I just grabbed a piece of cardstock I liked, not realizing at the time, it was a perfect fit for my idea, as you will see later! 

I then used the die cut layer for the top of the box:

I adhered the two pieces together.

Here is where I thought for a little bit.
As I wanted to alter this idea, to change up the die a little bit, to show you more uses.

So I decided to use the Stitched Rectangle Die Set, to create an opening in my Pillow Box, so you could see what was inside.

The rectangles in the Pillow Box Die weren't the size I was looking for, so in searching I found the right size in the Stitched Rectangle Die Set!!

So I die cut the rectangle from my layers:

I then added a piece of acetate on the inside of the box to create a window:

How fun!!

I originally had planned to fill this pillow box with candy, so here is a look with it filled up:

It's now ready to be embellished!!

But in thinking, I decided it would create a perfect gift card holder as well!  I love creating my own gift card holders, as I don't care for the boring ones in the store!

So here's a look at my finished pillow box:

I love the scene you kind of created as well!  The pillow box kind of acts as a frame!

The "Season's Greeting" sentiment is part of the Freezy the Snowman stamp set!

As I mentioned earlier, I used a piece of double sided paper...

When you slide the gift card out, you can see the other side of the paper inside!  So the inside of my box is decorated as well!!

It's those small things that I get a kick out of!!

YNS December Release

Hello Stamping Friends!

 It's release day at Your Next Stamp!!!

I just love release day!

HAPPY DANCE!!

So MANY great new stamp sets and dies being released today!!!

First up, I am featuring the new Blast Off and Star Splatter stamp sets:

The Blast Off stamp set is such a great set for little boy cards!! 

I am so excited to see the release of the Star Splatter stamp, which was perfect to create a background for this rocket!!  But will be fun for other birthday cards and graduation cards!!

I used the Stripe-tastic Circle Die to make it look like the rocket was shooting past the moon.  And the die makes a fun shaker card!

Fun part is that I added an action wobble to it, so the rocket shakes!!

 Fun!!

Next up I used the Snow Much Joy stamp set!  I am soooo very much in love with the snowman in this set!

 Isn't the snowman sweet?!  I sure think so!!

There is another sweet image as well, some snowflakes and some fun sentiments!!

I currently have been in love with creating with this color palette.  I love the background I created, I used some of my favorite distress inks, snowflake stencil and the snowflakes from the Snow Much Joy stamp set!

Love it!!

Lastly, I am sharing a sweet little package I created using some new dies!

I love creating packages!!  So I was super excited to get the new Treat Bag die!!

I also added a sweet paper bow, created using the new Bow-tiful Little Bows!

The stamped snowflakes are from the Snow Much Joy stamp set!

I also added some Holly Jolly Sparkly Gumdrops!!

Perfect for some candies!!

Christmas Wreath with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

With the holidays right around the corner, I once again was inspired to create a holiday card!!

First off, I decided to use the Not Too Shabby stamp set, as I thought the wreath would be perfect to use for a Christmas wreath.  

Here is a look at the lighter green wreath stamped and the darker green color waiting to be stamped:

Now you're ready to spruce it up!!

I decided to add a bow and some rhinestones for "berries" or "lights"!

Isn't this a elegant Christmas card?!

I just love how it turned out!!

I created the "Holidays" sentiment using the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set!

I just love the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set, it makes creating your own larger sentiments so easy!  

I used a shimmery red ink for the sentiment!

I also added the "HAPPY" from the Sweet As Honey stamp set, to the front of my created sentiment!
